Positives from my stay: The place is clean and the rooms are very neat, clean and spacious. Christine was a very welcoming and accommodating host. Negatives from my stay: Water pressure is extremely low when the lodge is full, thus causing water to trickle out when trying to shower and it is cold. The alarm that constantly went off during the early hours of the morning. Could not switch the aircon on due to the remote batteries being flat. Renovations are currently underway. All in all, the place is value for money; however, they can pay more attention to the smaller finer things like checking that the remotes work (batteries replaced), and that complimentary coffee and sugar sachets are replenished for people staying longer than 2 days.

The South Coast does experience water challenges, which is why we have backup water storage and a pressure pump in place. Unfortunately, the low water pressure was not reported to us, so the pump was not activated. It's important to note that low water pressure can also affect the water temperature.

Friendly service.

We had a great time. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a big bonus.
