Ferrous nest is a cosy apartment situated on the ground floor of the owner’s house in the charming seaside village of Struisbaai, Western Cape. The apartment offers secure parking behind a remote-controlled gate and is ideal for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay or just a relaxing getaway. The unit uses solar power.

The apartment is suitable for 4 guests. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV and a sea view. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 three-quarter beds and a TV. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and a toilet. All linen is provided, but guests are required to bring their own beach towels.

Enjoy the breathtaking views from the open-plan living area which features comfortable seating, Wi-Fi access and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with cutlery, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a toaster, an electric frying pan, an induction plate and an air fryer.

Guests have access to a lovely braai area where wood, tongs as well as a braai grid, are provided. The owner has 3 friendly cats who may briefly come and greet the guests during the day.

Home of the longest uninterrupted beach in the Southern hemisphere, Struisbaai offers many popular fishing spots and other outdoor activities. It is well known for its quaint white-washed fishermen’s houses situated at the village entrance. The many impressive sights are an attraction to both artists and photographers alike.
