Fig Tree offers a peaceful retreat in the unspoilt bush surrounds of Marloth Park, a wildlife conservancy and holiday town situated on the southern border of Kruger National Park. It is a popular stopover for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, and Mozambique, offering a chance to spot four of the renowned Big Five.
Accommodation is offered in an 9 sleeper house and a 2 sleeper self-catering unit.
The Fig Tree House features 5 rooms suited to accommodate 9 guests in total. The main bedroom comes equipped with a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and washbasin. The second and third room both comprise a queen-size bed and the forth room has 2 single beds. The fifth room only features 1 single bed. The house has an additional bathroom that is fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and washbasin. Other in-room facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, TV, OpenView channels and Wi-Fi. There is also a splash pool and braai facilities that guests can use. Bedding and towels are provided.
The Self-catering unit 1 is furnished with a double bed while the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. The unit also has a fridge-freezer and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, mini oven with a 2-plate stove, and a kettle.
Activities in the area include game drives, game viewing, birdwatching, 4x4 trails and hiking.
