Description
Garingboom Guest Farm is an eco-friendly Karoo sheep farm, located about 11 km off the N1 on the R715 near Springfontein in the Southern Free State. The shady trees and uninterrupted views of the beautiful natural landscapes make this accommodation the ideal getaway retreat.
Accommodation is offered in 3 different cottages which can sleep between 2-5 guests. The cottages are furnished with either a queen-size bed, a double bed, or 2 single beds, and each features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. No pets allowed.
All of the cottages have air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a kitchenette, braai facilities, and covered parking. Guided tours on bird, butterfly, and dragonfly watching are available and there are also walking and cycling trails on the farm tracks.
Guests can cool down in the shared swimming pool, visit the succulent garden, or walk the game trail spotting Springbok, Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, and the beautiful Mountain Reedbuck. Guests can also request a delicious Karoo lamb dinner, available at an extra cost.
