Description

The Glen Eden Farm is a smallholding of 50-hectares situated 14 km outside of the historic town of Montagu, on the popular Route 62 towards Barrydale. Accommodation is provided in 5 luxury cottages or 4 glamping sites.

All cottages or houses have smart TV's with Netflix access and all but one have indoor fireplaces. All kitchens are equipped with electric ovens, 4-plate gas hobs, microwaves, fridge-freezer, toasters and kettles, crockery, cutlery and utensils. All cottages have private enclosed gardens with braai facilities, outdoor furniture and splash pools.

The 3 glamping sites at Glen Eden Ranch, all have handmade gypsy wagons, a tepee tent plus a private bathroom and a small kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, gas hob, kettle and all crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is a braai, fire pit and wood-fired hot tub outside.

The fourth glamping site is situated at Little Eden, this is a new concept with micro-bedrooms, giving guests the luxury of a bedroom in nature. The site has a small kitchen, the up-market ablution is shared but has everything you need, no site is more than 80 meters away.

There are a number of walks around the farm, a dam with black bass and tilapia for fishing, a touch farm with lots of animals; donkeys, alpacas, goats, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks, which guests are welcome to walk around at any time. There is also have a large swimming pool with day beds and sun loungers, a jungle gym for the children and even a tractor to play on. There is also horse riding on-site, which must be arranged.

Glen Eden's cottages are all pet friendly, the gardens are all fully enclosed. Unfortunately, none of the glamping sites allows pets.
