House Rules

Functions or parties must be arranged in advance and may incur additional fees.

The communal facilities, including the lapa, splash pool, gas braai facility, 12-seater Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam unit, are shared with other guests.

Daily housekeeping in the lighthouse covers only the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. If you require housekeeping in your room, an additional charge will apply. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms.

Breakfast is available at an additional cost of R85.00 per person. It is served from 06:30 to 09:00 (Monday to Friday) and from 08:00 to 10:00 (Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays). If you would like to have breakfast during your stay, kindly enquire at reception upon arrival.

Swimming towels are not provided. Guests are required to bring their own, and room towels are not permitted at the swimming pool area.

Our tuck shop is open from 08:00 to 20:00, offering soft drinks and snacks. If reception is closed, please give us a call, and we will gladly assist you.

For security purposes, guests will receive a gate access code upon check-in, which should not be shared with delivery services or Uber drivers.

During load shedding, we do not have generator backup. However, all rooms are equipped with rechargeable lights for guests’ convenience. Please check with reception upon arrival for the load shedding schedule or refer to the Eskom Push App under “Bedfordview (8).”

The sauna, steam room, and 12-seater Jacuzzi are available for guests to enjoy during their stay. Please inform us in advance if you wish to use these facilities so we can book a time slot. Be aware that during load shedding, these facilities will not function and may require time to reheat once power is restored. Eating or drinking is strictly prohibited in these areas.

Guests are requested to be considerate by keeping noise levels down. The owner reserves the right to evict anyone misbehaving with immediate effect.

Laundry and ironing services are available at an additional fee. Please enquire at reception if you wish to make use of this service.
