Thank you for your review. There is nothing more that I would like to do than refurbish and upgrade many aspects of this building. It is a government building and we rent it from the primary school next door. They are a no-fee school and do not have the funds to maintain their building. We do our best, step by step as budget allows, as we keep our prices in line with backpackers and what guests can expect for what they pay. We also provide affordable accommodation in Greyton.
We scrub and clean as best we can. This building is over 60 years old now and has been well used.

This old building has been transformed from an unused school hostel to a backpackers and venue where large groups, such as yours, can stay at a very affordable price. We lease the building from the government school next door and our rent pays the salaries of some of the teachers. We do our best to keep the old place as clean as possible and are always improving and upgrading. It was unfortunate that during your stay we were having some serious water issues due to load shedding.
