Totally relaxing, in a beautiful home (lodge).

Beautifully appointed, awesome position and views, game vehicle in very good condition. Staff 'top drawer'. Donald is an awesome chef.

Will definitely come back.

The house has an excellent layout, with 4 very comfortable bedrooms/lofts and an extra room for teenagers/children to use. The chef and housekeeper really made the stay wonderful, as we really enjoyed the meals and setting up and clearing of the tables as we were a group of 14. We really enjoyed the stay. Note that activities are about a 30 min drive away, so this is a good space to just relax and enjoy the environment.

Stunning house with fantastic chef and great view.

Luxurious everything! From the comfy and quality beds, stunning and appropriate furniture and decor, to the fantastic chef and house keeper, this lodge was a real spoil. Loadshedding (not the lodge's fault) caused a need for a few more portable rechargeable lights, and would be nice to have more covered parking, but every other detail has been well considered and supplied. Not much game around that area of the lodge but go south on a drive and you see plenty towards the main gate.

Amazing, excellent quality, wonderful food. A great overall experience.

Our stay at Gweda Lodge was really lovely. Jac and Chef Andrew were amazing, they ensured that we felt welcome and kept the place looking good at all times. Chef Andrew was a wonderful host and chef. He ensured that our meals were cooked to perfection and added his own little magic to eat meal time. Chef Andrew was also our driver on the game drive and he made sure that we enjoyed the drive. The lodge was neat, and stunning. It had everything that we needed. We would definitely visit Gweda Lodge again.
