Great location and friendly host, however the house is not as advertised and lacks basic essentials.

Heidi House is set in a great location however the house is not as advertised. Guests are accommodated in a small A-frame section of the larger house (displayed on the photos) with the host and house owners on site in the remainder of the house. The house is poorly equipped with old 'mix and match' cutlery and crockery that is insufficient for the number of guests hosted. There is no 'white linen,' and although the bedding and linen provided was clean, it is old and not comfortable. Parking is not secure as advertised, it is merely off-street, without any fence/ wall or gate. The swimming pool is a plus for the property and we made frequent use of it.

Hi Paul,
Although your booking was for 6 adults and 1 child, you arrived with an additional 2 babies for which you provided your cots for sleeping. Fortunately, our 2 upstairs bedrooms are spacious enough to accommodate them.
We are providing 16 dinner plates stored in the dining room cupboard and the kitchen cupboards, as well as 16 forks and knives and 12 large and small spoons.
I am sure you enjoyed our large braai facility to cater to you and your guests.
The washing machine in the kitchen was surely a plus to keep up with your babies' clothes to wash.

Perfect Stay to watch the Annual Schools Boat Race.

Proximity to the race and access to the private jetty made this an ideal place to watch the Boat Race. Comfortable lodgings with dishwasher and washing machine, braai area and 2 en-suite bedrooms. Well priced. Our host who stays on the property and was delightful. The pool was great to cool off in on the hot days.
