Description
The Hemel en Aarde Cottages are lovely self-catering cottages set in the Hemel en Aarde Valley, about 120 km from Cape Town. The property is situated in the crystal clean air at the foot of the magnificent Babylonstoren Mountain and the Onrus River flows graciously through the heart of it. The cottages are the ideal place to unwind in serenity, enjoy a weekend getaway and connect with nature.
There are 4 cottages to choose from that are surrounded by vineyards, landscaped gardens and dams. Each cottage has its own well-equipped kitchen and living area, and braai facilities. All but one of the cottages has their own wood-fired outdoor hot tub.
Should guests want to enjoy a taste of local produce, Hemel en Aarde Cottages offer a selection of delicious, locally produced platters to make your stay extra enjoyable and memorable. Platters include cheese and meat platters, and breakfast platters and baskets.
Wine can be tasted at any of the famous wineries on the doorstep, and Hermanus which is world-renowned for its whale-watching and beaches, is 15 minutes away by car.
