Ek kon ontspan. Die see lug was verfrissend. Die stilte was iets wat vir my uitstaan.

Die naweek was asemrowend. Dit was iets uit 'n boek. Die eenheid was netjies en die see, wat seker net 10 minute stap vanaf die eenheid is, was perfek.

Baie lekker, lekker.

Ek het definitief lekker gebly en sal weer gebruik maak van die akkommodasie.

Ek het lekker gebly. Alles was so rustig, gerieflik en skoon.

No aircon, no WiFi, outdated furniture, but Hermanus is beautiful.

It was okay. We have been at establishments with better facilities.

Very disappointing, poor value for money.

Torn sheets, stained pillow, top mattress was flipped so bed was uncomfortable, musty smell in bedroom cupboard and dirty clothes or fabric on the floor of the cupboard. Windows in lounge did not close properly, rainwater came in, and it was extra cold. Icy, windy draft in the lounge. Water leaked by the shower screen so the floor got wet. No mop. Wet floor. Was reported and owner asked if I had a towel or something to put down? Owner received a message about power outage, did not communicate this. Was told when I called to find out what was going on because no loadshedding was scheduled. She then told me to ask security, gave me the number to call and no one answered. This should have firstly been communicated to us when she received the message and I just feel that she should have got more information and communicated that to us. It shouldnt have had to be my responsibility. Very disappointed. Poor value for money. Should maintain the unit better and clean better and replace the furniture at least. Doesn't have to be expensive, just comfortable, clean and decent.

Unpleasant experience in an unkept unit.

1. Blankets were smelly and dirty and appeared to be unwashed as some had food stains on which came off when rubbing it together. 2. Rusted pots were found in cupboards which I wanted to use. I tried cleaning it a bit, but more rust came off, this is such a big health risk to begin with but absolutely appalling. Other dirty crockery was found including the grater. 3. The basting brush with old sticky grime was revolting. 4. There was also a broken dustpan making minor cleaning so inconvenient. 5. Layer of dust on shower handle. Really don't know when last the place was spring cleaned. 6. Unpaid DSTV account with no visual entertainment for kids. Upsetting!

Very relaxing.

It was a great two days, had kids from 7 to 15 and two adults. I love the Hermanus town that's only 4 mins drive away. I never knew that the informal settlement was literally over the wall, but the compound is definitely safe enough and everyone will be back in future.

Mens kon heerlik langs die see en in die plek stap. Dit is beslis veilig veral vir ouer mense soos ons.

It is a nice place, but they can provide Wi-Fi or full package of the DStv.

It is a beautiful place. The children were a bit cross, because there is no Wi-Fi, and only limited DStv channels, but otherwise it was ok.

Very nice place accommodative, a lot you can do around, peaceful place.

What I could advise is that a booklet be made where all the attractions, restaurants, transport etc. are shown. That can be very useful. Otherwise everything about the place was okay, we really enjoyed our stay.

Unpleasant surprise.

The website for this unit states that it is "only 3km from central Hermanus". That may be true, but there is no mention that one needs to drive through an industrial area, and that the complex is right next to the Esihle informal settlement. This unit is situated right next to the boundary wall of the complex and is no more than 20 - 25 meters away from the informal settlement, which is in full view from the unit. I must add that my family and I did not feel unsafe during our stay, or while driving past the informal settlement houses to get to the complex. But it is a terribly unpleasant surprise when one has driven across the country to get to one's holiday accommodation and then to experience this without it being made known upfront. There is also no mention of this in any of the reviews, which I find very strange and which makes me wonder whether all reviews are indeed listed. The unit itself can also certainly do with an upgrade and for this price point I believe the owner can do a bit of work on the place. The furniture is old and outdated and even the kitchen utensils seem to be left overs from somewhere else.

Very peaceful stay. The teenager's enjoyed the games arcade & pool table very safe inside the resort.

Would definitely recommend Hermanus beach club.

Het die plek baie geniet. Was netjies en baie rustig. Vriendelike mense om jou en diens was puik. Sal baie beslis weer terug gaan.

Relaxing, fun, memorable.

We were very happy with our stay. The flat was comfortable and neat. Felt like a home away from home.

Gemaklike, rustige verblyf.

Ons het die verblyf baie geniet. Alles was baie netjies, en die eenheid is goed toegerus.

Kuier was fantasties.

Oond buite was vuil. Vensters was verskriklik vuil. Badkamerkassie is los. Badkamerspasie baie klein veral as mens in bad wil klim. Wit sitkamerstoele baie diep. Bruin stoele se kussings onaangenaam. Ysterstoele buite geen kussings. WiFi sal waardeer word aangesien ons bitter min sein gehad het. DStv-pakket kan bietjie verbeter. Afdroogdoeke was verskriklik onaangenaam, ek travel altyd met my eie. Daar was geen ekstra kos kas om my kos uit te pak nie. Maar besides alles het ons dit verskriklik geniet, ons kyk nie vas aan al die probleme nie. Ons is baie gemaklike mense.

Dit was baie lekker.

Weer wou net nie lekker saamspeel maar games arcade het gehelp om kinders besig te hou. Blyplek skoon en netjies. Al probleem is dat daar geen pakplek vir klere is nie, slegs hangplek.

Baie rustig.

Was a nice relaxing holiday not too far from home. Facilities are well suited for a family holiday.

The new structural development right on the doorstep of the beach club was a shock and site for sore eyes. We had no disruptions it was just strange as we haven't been to facility before. Otherwise the beach club is a nice holiday away.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!

We had the time of our lives! This was a last-minute booking and we don't regret it. Friendly host, great place and awesome vibes. I will definitely be back.

Was relaxing, beautiful view and quite a few activities.

The area to get to the venue was quite a shock at first glance but the venue is very secure and the nearby shopping center. Had very friendly and efficient staff. Locals quite friendly as well. I would definitely try this venue again.

Die weer het nie saamgespeel nie, maar het die kuier geniet.

Hermanus Beach Club is in baie mooi omgewing. Die enigste negatiewe punte is dat daar nie 'n swemstrand is nie en die informele nedersetting wat by jou deur sit.

Dit was baie ontspannend.

Daar is soveel om te doen in Hermanus. Sal graag weer wil gaan om die plek verder te verken.
