Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Please note, the apartment is accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
Bookings are confirmed, only on receipt of 50% of the total cost of accommodation. The balance remaining is payable 14 days before arrival.
Keys will not be handed over unless the booking is paid for in full.
Earlier arrivals or later departures are to be arranged with the owner.
All keys must be collected from and returned to Gladiator Security. Keys may not be left with security guards or cleaning staff.
Tenants will be held responsible for any shortages due to theft, breakages, etc in the unit, and or any misconduct that occurs due to the negligence of complex/breach of the body corporate rules.
Any misbehaviour or disturbance will lead to immediate eviction.
Tenants are responsible for their own safety.
The hosts strongly advise that guests set alarms where applicable.
This is strictly a non-smoking unit. If this has not been adhered to the breakage deposit will not be refunded and will be used to do a deep clean of the unit to remove the lingering smell of cigarette smoke.
No pets/birds are allowed in any of the units.
The maximum number of persons (children included) must not exceed the number of beds available. If overcrowding is reported to our office, we will have no choice but to evict.
If the original apartment is no longer available/inhabitable, the owners of the unit reserve the right to substitute it for the unit next door.
Please report any issues/faulty appliances/maintenance issues to the hosts within the first 2 days.
Air-conditioners are serviced twice a year. If for some reason an air-conditioner becomes faulty and the hosts are unable to repair it during your stay, unfortunately no refunds or discounts will be given.
The owners take no responsibility for items left behind in the unit booked.
Please note should any personal belongings be left in a unit, please arrange to have it collected, alternatively please send a courier to the office for collection.
Lost property will be kept for 1 week after it is reported. Thereafter it will be donated.
This apartment has a prepaid electricity meter installed and this if for the guests account. Inverters have been installed in the unit to safeguard against load shedding or other electricity cuts. The South Coast often experiences water cuts so to prevent any problems we have installed two large Jo Jo tanks. If a sudden loss in water pressure occurs the unit is now being fed by the Jo Jo tanks. For short bookings (e.g less then four nights) if the water runs out, water can be purchased but this is for the guests account.
On receipt of the deposit, guests are deemed to have accepted the above conditions of letting.
DSTV is available on request at an additional R50.00/night. cost per night.
