Description
Hippo's Honk @ Kruger is a luxurious self-catering holiday home with solar power situated in Marloth Park. The house is just 50 m from the fence of the Kruger National Park and the nearest entrance to the Kruger National Park, the Crocodile Bridge entrance gate, is only 20 km away. Guests are invited to unwind in this bush escape and to enjoy visits from a variety of wildlife including zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, impala, warthog, bushbuck, mongoose and bush babies.
This double-storey holiday home can sleep a maximum of 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, scullery, dining room and a living area. The main bedroom is located upstairs and is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and there is a shower, toilet, and washbasin in the bathroom right next door. The third bedroom has 1 queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. There’s also an outdoor shower and toilet.
All of the rooms and living areas also have pre-paid air conditioning and electric fans that work with remotes. There are quality mattresses on every bed and quality linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with 2 fridges, a gas stove, an electric oven, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery, as well as a kettle. There’s a dining table with 6 chairs and the living area is furnished with a lounge suite and a flat-screen TV installed with Netflix and YouTube. Shutters open from the lounge to the swimming pool area outside. The glass sliding door and shutters lead to a patio with a beautiful infinity pool and a braai boma with a fire pit.
The veranda on the upper level of the house has braai facilities and a dining table with 6 chairs. The house has insect screens on every window and door. Free, unlimited Wi-Fi is available and guests have access to free and safe parking. There are also 2 feeding troughs in front of the house in which food can be thrown for the animals.
