Was very pleasant, nice spacious house and will most definitely return.

Lieflike braai area met genoeg hout. Ideale ligging om die area te leer ken.

Baie lekker plekkie. Skoon, netjies en groot. Was goed verwelkom. Pet friendly.

Relaxing, cosy, spacious, loved the animals. Enjoyed making use of the braai area.

Really enjoyed my stay. Enjoyed the cats and dogs; it was sad to say goodbye to them. You must be an animal lover. You must take your own water. The private road to the cottage is in poor condition, although not unexpected when driving to a farm. I felt safe staying there. Adjusting the shower is a bit tricky.

Hope Cottage was a wonderful experience, thank you to Sharyn. Our 4-legged children loved the space and the cats! Kitty heaven. The colour of the water was a tad disturbing due to its high level of tannins, so if you drink a lot of water, we suggest purchasing bottled water before going (we were, however, assured that the water is 100% safe). Do support the book sales; there are wonderful titles and the venue lends itself to hours listening to the wind in the trees with a glass of wine and a good book.

Wonderful nature stay for cat lovers.

I had a wonderful stay, the property was extremely peaceful and the kitties were an absolute treat! The cottage is conveniently located, and very cool in the hot weather. The place was extremely comfortable and felt like a home away from home. And did I mention kitties?

Tranquil breakaway from the city.

The cottage is spacious and clean, well equipped. The cats and dogs are certainly something to get used to, but we enjoyed their company.

My family and I had a very relaxing stay; the only thing was we couldn't really sit outside to enjoy a meal or leave the door open as the cats were always running in and wanting food.

Lovely unit, but not quite tranquil.

Sharyn is very friendly, responsive and helpful. The unit is well equipped, very neat and clean. All the animals on the property are lovely - very friendly and well-behaved, and we really enjoyed having them around. However, during our stay, there was a group of people on the property having what sounded like a party, with loud music playing and shouting well past 11pm. The neighbours seemed to have a similar idea (granted, it was a Saturday night!). Unfortunately, we did not find it peaceful, quiet or tranquil as we had hoped. We actually felt quite uneasy.

Lovely peaceful setting in quiet country close to town. I will definitely stay there again if I ever need to be in Grabouw. Loved the cats.

Die kliëntediens was baie goed gewees en die eienaars het ons welkom en tuis laat voel.

Vreeslik geselig. Baie oulike huisie met 'n kagel binne vir die koue aande. Ons kom definitief weer kuier.

Baie lekker huisie. Ons gaan defintief weer kom met vriende. Amazing dag en aand spandeer in die Hope Cottage. Vriendelike mense. Genoeg hout vir dae en 'n lekker bottel wyn met ons aankoms. Vreeslik baie dankie.

Very pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings. People were very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that the accommodation stated that they had WiFi and the connection was so weak we kept on losing signal, so had to use our own data 90% of the time.

Birthday getaway.

The turn-off was the colour of the water and a swarm of cats running to enter the cottage anytime you opened the door. In any case, the location is stunning, everything was fine, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
