Ons het baie lekker gebly. Die uitsig is pragtig, die plekkie was baie oulik, ons sal definitief weer gaan!

Our stay at Howards View was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend that people stay there.

Die gastehuis was baie moeilik om te vind. Die adres wat aangegee word, was nie naastenby goed genoeg om die plek te vind nie. Bykomende inligting word benodig, wat die eienaar op die dag van aankoms vir jou aanstuur. Ongelukkig het ons nie die bykomende inligting betyds ontvang nie, wat gelei het tot 'n 2 ure lange soektog.

A relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting in the mountains.

Accommodation was gorgeous and we spent our weekend in the utmost comfort. Everything we needed was provided. The garden out front was beautiful, with covered lounge chairs and couches, and a firepit. A beautifully decorated place inside and out. The host is easygoing, very friendly and approachable, always available and willing to help. The hot tub is most definitely a selling point, overlooking the mountain and natural surroundings. A wonderful experience all in all and highly recommended.

My partner and I went for a second time for a quick weekend breakaway. The views are gorgeous and the unit is absolutely perfect and extremely well equipped. The hot tub under the stars overlooking the mountains is just a bonus! Enjoying early morning coffees with a breathtaking view, very cute doggies and stunning birdlife is just rest for your soul. Definitely a gem close to home!

Fantastic accommodation. Has everything you need, including a great host.

Everything was perfect. Came to visit a friend staying close by. The place exceeded expectations. You will find it difficult to not keep yourself entertained with a fire pit, TV, WiFi, pool, hot tub, board games and with a great view surrounding you. Would definitely visit again in the future!

We had a lovely stay. So relaxing and chilled. Would definitely go back there again. The hot tub with the view is amazing.

It was perfect for a relaxing weekend break after a busy week.

Monty was a great host, answering all our questions and accommodating us with some extras when needed. The boys loved the swimming pool, but what they loved the most were the beautiful friendly dogs. A real highlight. Due to the weather we were unable to use the hot tub, but enjoyed the rain while playing board games.

We had a great stay in a lovely setting. The cottage is very comfortable and well-kitted out, and you can see that much thought and love has been put into it. Monty was helpful, and his directions were accurate and appreciated!

Monty was a fantastic host who went out of his way to accommodate us. We loved the cottage. A lot of thought and artistic talent has gone into it, which has made it unique. We enjoyed our walks around the beautiful village, especially along the fantastic Apple Express Railway line.

Wat 'n fantastiese wegbreek. Alles wat jy kan nodig hê met dekor wat jou wegvoer na 'n ander wêreld. Die fotos doen dit nie regverdigheid nie. Sal vir seker gou weer daar kuier.

Heerlik sterre gekyk en geswem. Ruim en ontspanne.

Ons het lekker gebly. Baie kleurvol, baie kunstig geverf. Ruim en lekker. Net een probleem. Die stuk grondpad is baie swak.

Glad nie plaas, meer maplotter.

Die fotos en die plek se uitsig verskil drasties. Die honde in en die hele omgewing blaf onnodig baie. Dit was wel lekker om na die 1905 brug te stap.

Ideally situated for our purpose.

While the gravel road to Howard's View is a bone-shaker it was worth the effort. Stunning location, comfortable and well equipped. Extras available look enticing although we did not have time to view them. A minor criticism would be that the host's number seemed to be constantly on voicemail making it difficult to contact him immediately.
