Uitstekende verblyf op 'n plaas in die Klein-Karoo!

Het heerlik in die groot gerestoureerde plaashuis alleen gebly. Hennie het moeite gedoen om my alles te verduidelik en ek het alles ongelooflik waardeer. Alles was blink gepoets en silwerskoon. Die oorsig oor die geskiedenis van die omgewing en Makkedas (die lokomotief wat desjare tussen Laingsburg en Ladismith geloop het) was verrykend. Ongelukkig kon ek slegs een nag oorbly. Volgende keer bring ek die familie saam. Gratis sak hout gekry om te braai en appelkooskonfyt.

A great stay just off Route 62.

A last minute booking as we were looking for a spot about halfway between Cape Town and Cape St Francis and were very, very pleasantly surprised. A real old Karoo farmhouse located a couple of kilometers off Route 62. Warmly welcomed by the hosts and the house is spotlessly clean. Will stay longer next time.

A very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed being in the Klein Karoo and had a spectacular sunset and free game drive. The house was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The complimentary bottle of apricot jam was appreciated, as were the chocolates, hot chocolate drink, coffee, and tea, to name a few. A very informative brochure and warm and friendly hosts.

Lieflike ou plaashuis met alles wat mens nodig het. Wonderlike gasheer en -vrou. Die wegbreek was 'n ware lafenis vir die siel.

Soek jy rustigheid van die Klein Karoo dan is dit die plek. Baie lekker gerus.

Die rustigheid van self. Die Klein Karoo op sy beste en gaan die gasheer en gasvrou uit hul pad om jou verblyf so lekker as moontlik te maak. Alles wat jy nodig het is aan gedink en voorsien. Nogmaals dankie julle!

A wonderful place to stay in nature and the hosts were amazing.

Loved the old farmhouse and the time to just be and appreciate the natural beauty of the Karoo. The beautiful wildflowers in bloom and we had a lovely walk to the river. The indoor fireplace in the kitchen was well used by us as it was August and chilly at night. Definitely a place to go to get away from everything.

Rustigheid op sy beste.

Dis so donker daar, jy moet seker maak jou oë is oop wanneer jy in die nag wakker word. Dalk net in toekoms die hele agterkant 'n dakkie opsit. Andersins 'n besondere plekkie.

Perfekte Karoowegbreek.

Baie netjies, wonderlike gasvryheid en alles wat mens nodig het vir 'n wegbreek. Eenheid is pragtig gerestoureer.

Dit is 'n rustige omgewing, vriendelike diens.

Die Jouberts is baie behulpsaam en vriendelik. Die huis is pragtig, netjies en stylvol.

Heerlik rustig.

Die huis is lekker ruim en bevat alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Die plaas het heerlike stapplek en rustigheid om af te skakel in die natuur.

We had a lovely, quiet time with our family in this rustic home. It is in a lovely location beside the owners of the farm.

Two bedroom house, spacious and very clean. It was lovely prepared for us and the hosts are amazing. We were there in winter and it was super cold. In the kitchen is a big fireplace that kept us warm, but we rearranged the furniture to make it cosier to have a sofa in front of the fireplace. We loved the sunny stoep (veranda) with morning sun in the front of the house and took a table out to have breakfast there. There is no shower in the house and you need to take a bath to clean yourselves which is a nice change for city people. The surrounding mountains are stunning and there is plenty to do around the house. We hiked up a mountain of the owner's farm and explored beautiful flowers and dry river beds. It was a nice stay for the couple of days we had in the Karoo. Great hosts with huge caring hearts. The WiFi signal is very weak and works the best in the toilet. It is not ideal to use the house as an online working house. But it was enough network to check our emails and social media once in a while.

Dit was my man se 50ste en hulle het regtig die extra myl gegaan. 'n Paar ektras wat ons nie verwag het nie. Sal dit regtig aanbeveel.

Rustige plaaswegbreek.

As jy in omgewing is, geniet die gasvryheid van die eienaars, stilte en rustigheid van die Karoo. Plonspoel is 'n bonus.

Ruim, netjiese, goed toegeruste huis en baie aangename eienaars.

Baie moeite word gedoen om jou verblyf so aangenaam moontlik te maak.

Lekker ontspan, in mooi skoon, goed toegeruste plek en vriendelike eienaars.

Baie rustig en lekker plekke om te verken - hetsy stap of voertuig.
