Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
- Extra guests are not allowed. Unauthorised guests are a liability risk.
- No large unauthorised gatherings are allowed.
- Key and remote replacement fees are strictly enforced.
- Guests must not change any locks or codes.
- No drugs or prohibited items are allowed. Illegal activities are a hard line and will result in immediate termination of accommodation.
- No food or beverages are allowed outside of the kitchen or dining area. Restricting food and beverages to these areas reduces the risk of spills and stains. Guests will be financially responsible for any damage to linen or furniture.
- No furniture may be moved around. To prevent damage to floors and furnishings, prohibit the moving of indoor furniture.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited. A strict no-smoking policy, backed by a daily fee for violations, helps maintain a fresh and clean environment.
- Respect the host’s time. Adhere to check-in and check-out times.
- Security deposits apply. Guests are liable for extra fees. Security deposits are standard practice. Any damages exceeding the deposit will be the guest’s responsibility.
- Excessive noise is not permitted. Quiet hours are enforced from 22:00 to maintain harmony with neighbours.
- Towel and bedding replacement fees apply. Stained linens and towels will clearly define the fees for damaged items.
- Extra mess equals extra cleaning fees. Additional cleaning fees will be charged.
- Guests are responsible for any plates or other glasses, both internal and external, as well as window panels and shall be obliged as to its expense to replace any such glass or panels as may be damaged.
- Pets are not allowed. Whether pets are allowed or not, it will require including additional deposits or restrictions.
