The internet is very reliable and there is Netflix. The bed is very comfortable that you just want to simply melt in them. There is a toilet and shower in the second-floor loft bedroom and a toilet and washroom on the ground floor. The shower has adequate pressure and warm water all the time. There is also an expansive garden with a large pool, a gazebo and patio where you can simply sit and relax and enjoy the day. On top of all this, the staff are also very attentive and caring, and the proprietor, the host, gives each guest personalized care - bar none. Nestled in the quiet and safe suburb of Fairlands, Jim's Cottage is one exemplary accommodation set in the Cape Dutch style of architecture with fine contemporary art dotted on its walls. It is also located beside an art gallery that contains a vast array of contemporary modern art – illustrations, paintings and sculptures. Jim's Cottage is restful, homey, and comfortable. It has well-appointed furnishings set up in a very functional layout. There is an open-plan sitting room, dining room and kitchenette that open up to a private patio and garden where one can sit and relax or work and have an online meeting – al fresco. There is also a nicely furnished toilet and washroom on the first floor, making it convenient. The kitchenette has everything one needs to self-cater – a complete complement of cookery and crockery, and user-friendly appliances like a fridge, four plate stove and oven, microwave and electric kettle. The loft bedroom is very restful, the double bed and pillows are snug and comfortable, and there is sufficient shelf space for your personal items. Jim's cottage has a bathroom and toilet on the second floor loft bedroom that comes with very good pressure and an abundance of hot water. The view from the second floor window overlooks the picturesque hills of Fairlands and the vicinity. If you are staying in, the lawn and garden is beautifully maintained with flowers and trees abundant and in bloom, interlaced with sculptures and fanciful art. There is a moderately sized kidney pool and gazebo that also serves as an open-air lounge area. Here you can enjoy the nature, bask under the sun, and simply have a restful and comfortable day. One of the great advantages of Jim's Cottage is that the ambience and infrastructure make it possible for you to work/study and still be well-rested and rejuvenated. The free Wi-Fi is strong and dependable, there is safe off street parking with a garage, and the facility is safe and secure. Jim's cottage is accessible to service stations, malls, commercial centres and has easy access to the freeway.
