Our stay in the charming town of Kaapsehoop was an absolute joy. Rich in history and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, the accommodation is tucked away in a forest that abuts a conservation area and a cultural heritage site, and offers incredible views. It’s an ideal retreat for anyone looking to relax, go on an adventure, or reconnect with nature. The simplicity of life there is a core part of the overall experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, as were their friendly dogs, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A hike to Adam’s Calendar (“Inzalo ye Langa”) or Battery Creek Falls is a must, and no visit would be complete without stopping by the Bohemian Groove Cafe.

It was fantastic, thank you! Gorgeous surroundings and really well equipped. The beds were super comfy, and we felt so at home.

Such friendly people. Away from the busy city.

We enjoyed our visit away from the busy city. Pierre and his wife are very hospitable and friendly, made us feel welcome and we didn't want to leave one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. The place has stunning old houses and interesting shops. The wild horses were most amazing. This place also have a lot of history and the most beautiful view of the stars that we miss in the city. Thanks to Pierre and his wife for a wonderful breakaway.

Aanwysingsborde nie goed nie, nie goeie ontvangs nie, beddegoed nie skoon en vars nie. Oor die algemeen baie teleurstellend.

Sal beslis nie die plek aanbeveel nie. Baie swak rigtingaanwysings, swak ontvangs, bedlinne was beslis alreeds gebruik deur vorige gaste. Teleurstellende ondervinding.
