Description

Kaapsehoop Adventures is a self-catering establishment in Kaapsehoop, Mpumalanga, offering unique accommodation. Kaapsehoop Adventures are situated approximately 10kms from the village of Kaapsehoop, and the venue is perched on the edge of the escarpment.

Please ensure you have a vehicle with high ground clearance to travel on the 6 km of dirt road. Alternatively, a transfer can be arranged from the village at a nominal fee

Accommodation is provided in Teepee Tents as well as 3 rooms and can host up to 14 guests.

The bathrooms are communal and fitted with showers, a donkey boiler supplies hot water for the showers. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all communal areas are serviced daily. Linen is supplied, but guests are to bring their own towels. A torch or headlight is also recommended.

Kaapsehoop Adventures are off the grid and rely on alternate energy sources such as solar lighting, gas refrigeration, gas cooker, braai facilities and a pizza oven.

The venue lends itself perfectly to birthday parties, family gatherings, and even bespoke, intimate weddings. Guests are also welcome to bring their mountain bikes and cycle through the forest, or hike the local trails in the area.

Other activities in the area include Scootours, an exhilarating downhill ride on gravity scooters, horse riding or wander around the quaint village, check out Gold Dust Trading, or the local jeweler at Soul Creations and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants.
