Description
Kalahari Sands Gastehuis is located in Askham and offers self-catering units in a safe environment.
Guests have a choice of air-conditioned units; Khoi, Elna, TJ's 1-bedroom or TJ's 2-bedroom, Kliphuis, Bossie's, Betta's Magic Place, Lonkies and Wilna's. Each of the units is separate and private, and they are furnished with single, 3-quarter, double or queen-size beds or a combination thereof. The units also have private bathrooms with showers in most, while the one bathroom has a bath and a hand shower. Top-quality linen and towels are provided, as well as electric blankets in winter.
All of the units are equipped with microwaves, fridges as well as tea and coffee facilities. Some of the units have a stove, while some have a 2-plate stove. TVs with hotel package DStv are available. Each of the units also has private braai facilities. Undercover parking is available for some units, while the others have parking spots under the trees.
Meals as well as laundry service are also available on request. Well-mannered pets are welcome on request.
A variety of birds can be seen in the area and is great for birders.
