Karoo Retreat Gastehuis offers lovely overnight and self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of Oudtshoorn. It offers the ideal central base for activities and sightseeing in the surrounding area, making it a great choice for those wanting to explore the true Karoo culture and hospitality.

This guest house offers the option of either 6 Luxury Villas, 2 Standard Double Rooms, 5 Comfort Family Units or a Two Bedroom Family Unit. The Luxury Villas can accommodate up to 4 guests, the Standard Double Room each has a capacity of 2 guests, the Comfort Family Unit can accommodate 3 guests and the Two Bedroom Family Unit has a maximum capacity of 5 guests.

The bedrooms are either furnished with a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or single beds. Each unit has its own bathroom facilities fitted with either a shower or a bath and a shower. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

The Two Bedroom Family Unit features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove and oven, while all the other units have a kitchenette or a coffee station equipped with a microwave and bar fridge. All units, except the Standard Double Room, are air-conditioned and have tea and coffee-making facilities. For guests’ entertainment, a TV with DStv and free Wi-Fi are available.

Guests have full access to the property’s inviting communal swimming pool and boma area which has built-in outdoor seating and a central firepit. The guest house also has an air-conditioned dining area where they can enjoy a meal. Additionally, this guest house offers a laundry service and secure parking.
