Description

Kazondwe Lodge is situated in Ngonga in Namibia and offers accommodation in a small and unique lodge with attention to detail.

Accommodation is offered in tented accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, and 2 studios with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. The tented accommodation and studio is available on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and the second studio is available on a self-catering basis; meals can be arranged by prior arrangement.

The tented accommodation is furnished with 2 single beds in each, and features a small bathroom fitted with a toilet, basin and shower. A deck in front of the tent provides seating space, and the tents are secluded by reed walls for privacy.

One of the studios is a family studio suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. It comprises 2 bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed and 2 single beds. The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, stove, a dining table with chairs as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The Studio boasts its own braai facilities. The second studio is furnished with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, as well as a private verandah and seating area.

Additionally, there are 5 established campsites 500 m uphill, under large trees with interesting bird life.

A short walk up the dune will take you to the main lapa, which has a beautiful view over the Kwando floodplains; guests can watch the hippos in the hippo pool below. The camp is not fenced off and hippos tend to roam the lawns. Elephants and other wildlife also wander through the camp.

The lodge offers activities such as boat cruises and fishing trips.
