Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Guests of this property are kindly requested to adhere to the following rules, as outlined in the guest quotation and below.

All individuals included in the booking must familiarise themselves with the following guidelines.

Payment for the booking constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions, with the person making the booking assuming responsibility for the actions and behaviour of all members of the group.

By accepting this booking, guests acknowledge that exceeding the maximum occupancy of 6 persons, including children, will result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit. In such a case, the property owner will request that all occupants vacate the premises immediately, with no refund issued for the booking.

The property must be left in the condition it was found. If left in an excessively dirty state or with unwashed dishes, a fee will be deducted from the breakage deposit.

Furniture must not be moved within the house.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

The premises are let for holiday purposes only; gatherings and parties are not permitted.

The garages are reserved for the owner’s use only.

Firearms, pellet guns, and fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property.

This property accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, including children.

Visitors are not permitted at any time.

Written approval is required at the time of booking for any pets. A pet deposit will be held in trust for each approved pet.

Guests must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste appropriately.

Guests must provide their own bedding, blankets, food, and water bowls for their pets.

Any breakages or damages caused by pets will be deducted from the breakage deposit and pet deposit.

Any additional cleaning required due to pets will be charged against the breakage deposit.

Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool, on furniture, or on beds.

Guests must maintain a hygienic refuse receptacle within the house.

All rubbish must be securely wrapped before disposal. Tins must be fully drained.

Rubbish removal takes place on Mondays. Refuse bags may only be placed outside the property gate on Monday mornings, ensuring they are securely tied closed.

Washing must not be hung over balustrades or balconies.

A maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed on the property.

The garage is strictly for the owner’s use; guest vehicles must be parked in the driveway.

Vehicles must not leak oil onto the property.

Guests are not permitted to conduct vehicle repairs on the premises.

Use of the swimming pool is entirely at guests’ own risk.

Removal or tampering with the pool floater, Creepy Crawly, hosepipe, or any swimming pool equipment is strictly prohibited.

Music and other entertainment must not cause a disturbance to others.

Glass items, including bottles, glasses, and plates, are not permitted in the pool area.

Children under 10 years of age may not enter the pool area without adult supervision.

Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool.

The alarm system is provided for guests’ safety and should be used accordingly.

All windows must be closed, doors locked, and the alarm system activated (inside and outside) when leaving the property. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit and liability for any damages or losses.

Security recordings are only reviewed in the event of a complaint or incident. They are not used for guest monitoring; however, footage may be reviewed to verify claims of overcrowding.

Excess noise is not permitted at any time.

Loud music is strictly prohibited, including from vehicle sound systems, as this is a residential area.

Guests are requested to report any breakages that occur during their stay on the breakage deposit form.

Cancellation Policy
