Awesome, it was a lovely weekend.

Lovely, big old farmhouse with beautiful surroundings but the house has a number of smaller maintenance issues that need attention (door and window latches not working / all 4 showers have terrible water pressure and the shower heads need to be replaced as the water comes out in a solid stream / the bed in the 4th bedroom is very uncomfortable / the living area also desperately needs some comfortable seating and there is no outside bin). We really enjoyed the company of the 4 farm dogs who quickly made themselves at home with us.

Peaceful and well catered for.

The host was extremely helpful and I was pleasantly surprised with a welcome gift. The cottage is beautifully equipped. Even though I had chosen a smaller cottage I was upgraded to a larger one at no extra cost. My dogs loved swimming in the river and the walks. The hostess has such a calm aura that it is even felt throughout the farm. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Relaxing farm stay

We had a relaxing 2-night stay at Klipdrift with our newborn baby girl and our doggie. Maricke's communication was fantastic and it was a nice gesture giving us some pork sausage for our braai that was made on the farm. We had a great time.

Beautiful, scenic, peaceful

Perfect location - quiet, peaceful farm not too far off the beaten track, cottages right on the Kleinrivier. Our boys enjoyed exploring the farm on their bikes and our dog loved swimming in the river and playing with Cooper - the resident Ridgeback. Maricke was a perfect host! Thank you.
