Amazing.

Our stay was lovely from the kids to young adults and us older adults had so much fun, the host was very welcoming and lovely.

Heerlik in die natuur.

Ons was 'n gesin van 13 mense, van ouderdomme 12 jaar tot 82 jaar. Almal het hulself ten volle geniet. Daar is sein, maar dit is minimaal, want dit is op 'n plaas - wat heerlik was vir ons!

Definitely the place if you're looking to escape the noisy, crazy city life.

This was a wonderful break away for our staff. The surroundings allow for relaxation. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend it for a family stay as well. It is just you and your group, with access to a braai and swimming pool.

Die rustigheid van die plaas is die moeite werd.

Baie aangename verblyf. Die gasvrou was fantasties en het tot haar uiterste gegaan om ons gemaklik te maak. Die verblyf was gerieflik en baie netjies.

Perfect getaway from the busy city life.

Jackie and her family were amazing. I had to work while on holiday and they made it possible which was great as I could still spend time with family and friends on our short break away. Kids loved the play house and park area so much that they didn't want to come home. We have already recommended you to our friends and family. Thanks so much.

Organic and natural.

I enjoy the peacefulness the farm offers. Teenagers enjoy it thoroughly. I like the fact that there is no cell reception. It's perfect if you want to getaway from suburban life and relax.

Lekker kuierhuis vir 'n groep familie of vriende.

Genoeg om almal besig te hou, baie bordspeletjies, asook pooltafel. Sentrale sitkamer in middel van groot rondawel, met kombuis, slaapkamers, braai en speletjies alles rondom.

Best family vacay destination.

As a family, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The kids were all entertained from age 11, all the way to age 32. Jackie was amazing and her hospitality is 5 stars worthy. A definite on the family lust of return venues. Although there is 9km's of gravel road before you reach the house, it was in good condition and gave the destination even more of a "middle of nowhere" feel. Which is what we wanted. Thank you Jackie for being so welcoming and hospitable.

Klipdrift Farm is ’n wonderlike plek Baie rustig en sal beslis weer daarna wil gaan. Goeie plekkie vir familie. Sal enige familie aanraai om daarna te gaan. Die plekkie is toegerus met alles wat mens daagliks kan doen. Lekker kuier en gesellig verkeer. Jaqueline is ’n baie goeie mens en haar persoonlikheid het ons last tuis voel. 5 sterre.

This is a very quiet area and very safe.

It will be nice to have WiFi and selected DStv channels - especially sport channels.

Peaceful and great get-away from busy city life.

This accommodation is absolutely perfect for families with young kids as it's not super fancy that you need to constantly watch the kids, it's huge kitchen space makes it comfortable to cook and chat up a storm and watch the kids at the same time. The outdoor area is lovely with soft grass and fire pit. The pool area is lovely and the outdoor ablution area is nice and clean. The kids loved going for an afternoon walk, bike rides and the occasional race up and down the lawn area. We had a wonderful time Thank you

Relaxing, fun, away from everyday hussle and I could not have required more.

Allowed to play music freely, kids swimming and having fun. Board games and entertainment provided made the time so extra special.

Well kept, beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful quaint little farm. The children loved the pool, open spaces and animals. Corresponding with the owner before arrival was quickly responded to. The electricity/plugs in kitchen was a bit of problem, but they are in the process of sorting it out and reverting to a gas stove. The fans in each room was a definite help but an aircon would definitely be a big plus. Would definitely return and do referrals!

It was an amazing weekend away, there was everything you needed. Tranquillity, peace, fresh air, perfect.

The road going there is a gravel road. NB: no tar roads. So if driving a normal vehicle you take 2 hours from the normal road until the farm. Best to go there with a 4x4 or so. Other than that the stay was perfect for relaxing and not leaving the farm. Else the nearest shop is like 1 to 2 hours away depending on the type of vehicle used. As for the place itself. Amazing, everything you need for self catering is there including washing machine, freezer, fridge, stove, games, fireplace. All you need is lots of edibles so you don't have to drive out before leaving. I'll definitely go again just with a different vehicle.

An amazing weekend.

We were a family of 10 people (8 adults and 2 children) and Klipdrift Farm Stay is the perfect holiday destination to escape the busy city life. Waking up to the sounds of chickens and sheep was amazing. The rondavel has all the necessities and is very clean and well maintained. Will definitely come back.
