Awesome.

It was exactly the break that we needed.

Would definitely go again.

Was an adventure to stay at Konings Cottage. Kids loved it so much. The outside lights didn't work and the one that did doesn't give enough light outside. The showers' water pressure wasn't great, but manageable.

Fees in die storm.

Ons het baljaar in die hot tub, terwyl al die paaie rondom ons verspoel het, min wetend wat die storm was. Perfekte plek vir 'n wegbreek weg van alles en almal, om sommer net weer die batterye te herlaai. Die eienaar van die plaas het so mooi gehelp met alternatiewe roetes. Lieflike mense met 'n hart van goud. Ons het baie lekker gekuier en kan nie wag om weer te gaan nie.

Hidden gem.

Great break away from the city life. Would definitely recommend and also book this gem again.

Baie lekker daar gebly. Die huis is lekker warm, al was dit koud buite.

Secluded cottage in the coutry.

Great little gem in the middle of nowhere! Perfect location, a great little house with a much-needed hot tub for the winter days and nights. No cell service, at all.

Absolute bliss! Great location! Very peaceful! Great venue!

The accommodation was clean and neat. Little extras were delightfully welcome! Crisp clean bedding and comfortable beds! All the necessities for an enjoyable stay! The hot tub was a bonus. I was overjoyed that the wifi and TV didn't work! More time was spent riding the bicycles, kicking balls and playing swing ball with the youngsters! Lots of lovely clean air! We never got to go for the hike. Only means that we will have to come back again!

Ideal for friends, amazing view. It gives you that eastern feeling, away from the kasi crimes and drama.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Great customer service and would definitely love to come back.

Very well provisioned getaway!

We definitely went over-prepared for our stay here. The place has everything you need and a bunch of the smaller extras like coffee, rusks, firelighters, fire wood and all! Very pleasant stay, very secluded and very safe.

Rustig, beelskone natuur.

Konings Cottage is stylvol toegerus met kwaliteit handdoeke en linne. Aandag is geskenk aan klein goedjies, bv. bordspeletjies en skoot-kombersies. Goed versorg en skoon.

Absoluut ongelooflik

Fantastiese plek vir 'n goeie wegbreek van die stad se gedruis. Diens en verblyf is onverbeterlik. Sal beslis Konings Cottage aanraai en sal buslis weer gaan. Baie dankie julle! Wens ek kon 6 uit 5 gee.

Would highly recommend Konings Cottage! We felt safe, the house is lovely, is neat and have everything you need. We loved the jacuzzi and the stoep. We will definitely go back!

Perfekte wegbreek van die stad af!

Ons was 'n groep van 6 vriendinne gewees. Ons was baie beïndruk met die netheid van die plekkie en al die geriewe wat dit het. Ons het baie veilig gevoel en het die mooi afwerkings van die huis vreeslik geniet. Die buite-area is beslis waar ons meeste van ons tyd spandeer het, voor die groot vuurmaakplek en in die warmwaterbad. In die aande net voor ons gaan slaap het, het ons 'n lekker vliek op Netflix geniet. Die slegte sein verseker dat jy die lastige foon eenkant sit om net lekker te ontspan, maar ons het wel die WiFi waardeer in tye wat ons wou kontak maak met die buitewêreld. Sal beslis weer teruggaan!

Baie mooi plekkie

Al ons verwagtinge is oortref, tot proteas op die tafel. Toegerus met alles waaraan jy kan dink. Heerlike beddens. Net jammer die huisie sit teen die pad en al kan jy dit nie sien nie, hoor jy die voertuie.

Fantasties, baie gesellig.

Die huis was presies soos die foto's, netjies en skoon. Die kamp is groot en skoon die kinders het dit geniet. Die warmbad is 'n bonus. Sal beslis weer gaan!

Absolutely stunning and amazing place.

Highly recommend for a weekend break away. The place was clean and has everything you might need.

The service from Anny was excellent and the cottage is well appointed.

The flowers, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee were a welcome touch. The inside lounge area seating is tight but the large verandah with outdoor seating, table and braai lends itself to migrating outside at every opportunity. We enjoyed a wonderful walk at Platbos forest which is in close proximity but mostly soaked up the tranquility after a busy week at the office. Enjoyable. Recommended.

Rus vir die siel.

Wonderlike stoep om op te kuier en te ontspan. Kinders kan lekker speel en veilig wees.

Not a pleasant experience at all.

I wasn't able to take a warm shower all weekend due to the place not having warm running water. I enquired about the Jacuzzi and wasn't advised that it's a wood-fired Jacuzzi. Which we could've prepared for. There was a complimentary bag of wood however no axe to chop the wood. I'm really not happy about the amount of money I paid and the service I was given. I would like to be compensated based on the fact that I could perform a basic human need which is to have a warm bath or shower.

Would highly recommend. Anny is awesome, we were allowed to book in earlier and check out later. Cottage has everything that you need, and the space is great for kids to run freely. The hot tub is a bonus. Will definitely come back!
