Extra Fees
In addition to the rates in the table above, this property also charges a once-off R1100 cleaning fee per booking.
Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R2500 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Guests are expected to sign a rental agreement with the establishment on confirmation of the booking.
Legal responsibility:
The guest accepting responsibility for the property is responsible for the following:
1.1.1 In a personal capacity, for any losses, breakages or damages occurring to the property or the contents thereof during the rental period.
1.2 To convey these terms and conditions to all the guests, and
1.3 To ensure that all guests adhere to these terms and conditions.
1.4 Right of admission to this property is reserved. Should In Touch (the manager) find any Guest behaving in an inappropriate manner, all guests will be instructed to leave the property immediately, without a warning. In such a case, no payments will be refunded.
The following is considered as inappropriate behaviour:
Rules and Regulations:
2.1 Excessive noise and/or loud music at any time of the day or night. If neighbours can hear a noise and/or loud music, it is regarded as excessive.
No person shall cause any unacceptable disturbance, excessive or undue noise that disturbs or impairs or may disturb or impair the convenience or peace of any person. Penalty process: 1st notice - R500.00 to R1000.00 penalty.
2.3 If, at any time, there are more guests on the property than agreed to.
Activities like team building and partying on the property will not be permitted.
2.4 Any other behaviour deemed inappropriate by the manager.
2.5 All facilities are used at own risk. The owner and manager do not accept any liability or
legal responsibility whatsoever for any damage, loss or injury caused to guests or guests’ visitors resulting from the use of the facilities on the property.
2.6 NO SMOKING is permitted in the property.
2.7 No pets are allowed on the property, except by special arrangement for guide dogs to aid
handicapped or visually impaired guests.
2.8 No items may be removed from the property.
Please note that guests’ property is not insured during a break-in. The owner or manager does not take any responsibility for any damages or loss of property that may occur during the stay. The person signing this agreement takes responsibility to always ensure that the house is locked and secure.
2.9 If there are any traces, signs or smells indicating that any guest was smoking in the property, the total deposit will be forfeited.
2.10 If the manager becomes aware of any inappropriate behaviour, the total deposit will be forfeited.
2.11 If any item is missing, broken or damaged at the time of departure, the replacement value will be deducted from the deposit. The guest accepting responsibility for the property must check the contents of the house against the inventory list provided at arrival and must notify the manager within 2 hours of arrival should any items be missing, broken or damaged. Failing to do so will result in the responsible guest having to take responsibility for missing, broken or damaged items/equipment.
2.12 If there are stains on the linen, the linen will be replaced and the replacement value will be deducted from the deposit. The following list is not complete, but serves as an example of substances which are likely to leave stains on linen: blood, mascara, makeup or foundation, self-tanning or quick-tanning lotion and suntan oils.
2.13 Any costs incurred to restore the property to its original state will be deducted from the deposit, e.g. should deep cleaning be required or excessive dirty dishes are left.
3. KEY/BREAKAGE DEPOSIT The key/breakage deposit is normally refunded within 14 days after departure.
I, the undersigned, hereby accept all the terms and conditions as stipulated in this rental agreement. I undertake to abide thereto and confirm that I am fully aware that, should I be in breach of the agreement and should I be instructed to leave the property immediately,
without a warning, I will forfeit all refunds.
