La Paix meaning peace in French is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Beaufort West, only 600m from the N1 highway in the Western Cape. Perfect for guests looking for comfortable lodging with a touch of luxury, close to an array of action.

La Paix offers 10 units, some of which are self-catering. All units have their own private entrance and an en-suite bathroom either with a showers only or with a bath and shower. Other room facilities include air-conditioning, a TV with DStv, a bar fridge, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and electric blankets. Wi-Fi is also available to guests.

There is a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, which hosts a large variety of bird species. Parking for cars and motorcycles is for free and secure. There are braai facilities available to guests.

Breakfasts and dinners are provided as well as breakfast and lunch packs can be arranged. Please note, there is not a liquor license but guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. La Paix caters and host small weddings and private functions, guests are welcome to enquire for further information. Pets are welcome at an additional amount of R100 per pet but have to be under full control of the owner and house trained.

The town of Beaufort West has a municipal and private museum. The famous heart surgeon Dr Christiaan Barnard was born and raised in this town. Some of the equipment used to perform the first heart transplant are on display in the museum. West of the town there is the beautiful Karoo National Park.
