Gasheer is vriendelik en behulpsaam. Het gevoel soos ons eie huis terwyl ons daar was! Alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was daar! Naby alles en 'n mooi uitsig!

Ons het regtig lekker gebly. Het vir seker melk in die yskas baie waardeer. Die stort se water wou ongelukkig nie warm word nie, maar ons kon darem lekker bad.

We were out most of the time but the stay was pleasant.

The owner received us well. The accommodation was central but with a lot of traffic during the week. I would like to have at least side plates and cutlery.

Easy stay, uncomplicated host.

Good stay, only one night for us. The host was very friendly, super easy and uncomplicated. A little minus as the room could smell the dog, as the owner has dogs in the house next door. It wasn't bothering us so much, but maybe for other people it can be.

Well kept, neat cottage.

No significant complaints. Just traffic noise early in the morning.

The place is in a quiet area and the house is quiet. But the dog smell was very strong.

So far for me it was the best guest house to stay at around Fish Hoek.

Comfortable, easy stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. Every evening was a pleasure to return to a room that was serviced during the day and ready to be used in the evening. The host was welcoming and helpful when we got there.

Ons het net een nag akkommodasie nodig gehad en alles was daar wat ons nodig gehad het. Ek en my seun het baie lekker gebly!

La Sal is 'n pragtige plek in 'n rustige area met mooi uitsig op die berg. Dit is sentraal en naby aan die hoofstraat se winkels en die asemrowende wit strand.

Comfortable bed and pleasant surroundings.

Only issues. Need a safety rail up those steep steps from the outside gate to the kitchen, especially if the tiles are wet! Also, the shower drain took some time to clear. Individual hand towels would have been nice too.

Wonderful stay at La Sal Guest House.

The host and his wife were incredibly helpful and kind. They made sure that we were comfortable and assisted with information on the area. The rooms and amenities are luxurious and have everything one needs. We stayed for 10 nights and had a fabulous time. The location is amazing, close to restaurants and activities, malls and grocery stores. I can highly recommend La Sal Guest House and will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place and hosts.

What a lovely place, we enjoyed our short stay there. Our hosts are wonderful people. Raymond gave us the best advice regarding a restaurant in the area for dinner. It was the best food ever for both of us. The only reason I marked the safety as four stars is that our vehicle was parked in an open driveway overnight. Other than that, we will surely make use of their facility when we have to visit Cape Town.

Very relaxing, everything we needed for an overnight stay in lovely Fishhoek.

Fishhoek is always a pleasure to visit. Very central to the different coasts, neighbouring villages, e.g. Kalk Bay.

Redelike verblyf. Goed vir een nag. Omdat die eienaars troetdiere toelaat, het die kamer en komberse in die kas nie vars geruik nie. Parkering is buite op die straat; geen veilige parkering. Baie lekker badkamer.

We made the best of the situation, and they're not 1 km from the beach as advertised.

There was no bath as shown in the pictures, and no communal braai. We waited outside with no one to open for us. There was no contact for 3 days before we sent emails, WhatsApp, and calls; we couldn't get hold of the host.

It was an out of this world experience.

Raymond, the owner, is an incredibly helpful and attentive host. Made the stay really pleasant and was massively appreciated. The unit is super clean, well-located and has serious value for money. Pet friendly saved my life travelling with two pets.

Raymond answered the questions we asked quickly, and our late check-in and early check-out requests were accommodated without question.

The place is absolutely beautiful and our host Raymond was amazing, 5 out of 5.

Nice pleasant accommodation.

The accommodation itself was great, and our host was attentive. The only thing is that someone had parked their vehicle so close to the gate that my husband and I had to 'shimmy' past to get in and out. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning.

A wonderful stay with amazing views!

The unit at La Sal Guest House was clean and very comfortable. There was enough linen to ensure I was warm enough. Coffee, tea, etc. were provided, as well as fresh milk, which was awesome. The only suggestion is to add a plug for the hairdryer.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. However, there was no air-con and the room was a little warm, but opening the windows assisted. A breakfast facility would have been nice though. But otherwise, it was a nice stay for one night and the back-up electricity facility during load shedding did not go unnoticed. Thank you.

Very comfortable, with a great view of the Fishhoek mountains. Central and convenient location.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the room that we booked due to host allocating the rooms incorrectly. Found a few cockroaches in the room. Bed was nice and comfortable. However, neighbor guests had two dogs that were barking constantly which wasn't very pleasant and relaxing at all.

Awesome! What can I say? Graceful, peaceful and quiet.

The room was clean, bedding was fresh, crisp, and better than hotel standard. There was even an electrical blanket for the chilly evening and a coffee tray freshly prepared, as well as a beautifully manicured garden, where I could do my my meditation with the backdrop of the mountain. The host, Raymond, didn't mind being called to assist and did so gracefully. This is my second time staying there and will definitely not be the last. I had the opportunity to sleep in both cottages and all I can say is great. Don't forget the breakfast. If you want solace, it's the place. I'm from Johannesburg and I'm already highly recommending the venue to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you Raymond for making my two stays at your guesthouse memorable and great.
