So far for me it was the best guest house to stay at around Fish Hoek.

It was the best stay ever and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Het net daar geslaap, dit was baie lekker.

Everything was exactly as described, and scrupulously clean. The host kindly made allowance for us to arrive after the standard set time. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The room was comfortable and clean. Every evening was a pleasure to return to a room that was serviced during the day and ready to be used in the evening. The host was welcoming and helpful when we got there.

Ons het net een nag akkommodasie nodig gehad en alles was daar wat ons nodig gehad het. Ek en my seun het baie lekker gebly!

La Sal is 'n pragtige plek in 'n rustige area met mooi uitsig op die berg. Dit is sentraal en naby aan die hoofstraat se winkels en die asemrowende wit strand.

Only issues. Need a safety rail up those steep steps from the outside gate to the kitchen, especially if the tiles are wet! Also, the shower drain took some time to clear. Individual hand towels would have been nice too.

Wonderful stay at La Sal Guest House.

The host and his wife were incredibly helpful and kind. They made sure that we were comfortable and assisted with information on the area. The rooms and amenities are luxurious and have everything one needs. We stayed for 10 nights and had a fabulous time. The location is amazing, close to restaurants and activities, malls and grocery stores. I can highly recommend La Sal Guest House and will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place and hosts.

What a lovely place, we enjoyed our short stay there. Our hosts are wonderful people. Raymond gave us the best advice regarding a restaurant in the area for dinner. It was the best food ever for both of us. The only reason I marked the safety as four stars is that our vehicle was parked in an open driveway overnight. Other than that, we will surely make use of their facility when we have to visit Cape Town.

Very relaxing, everything we needed for an overnight stay in lovely Fishhoek.

Fishhoek is always a pleasure to visit. Very central to the different coasts, neighbouring villages, e.g. Kalk Bay.

Baie lekker gebly, gasheer fantasties. Sou net met loadshedding ligte en ligte vir voertuig wil hê. Heerlik stil en naby alles.

Redelike verblyf. Goed vir een nag. Omdat die eienaars troetdiere toelaat, het die kamer en komberse in die kas nie vars geruik nie. Parkering is buite op die straat; geen veilige parkering. Baie lekker badkamer.

We made the best of the situation, and they're not 1 km from the beach as advertised.

There was no bath as shown in the pictures, and no communal braai. We waited outside with no one to open for us. There was no contact for 3 days before we sent emails, WhatsApp, and calls; we couldn't get hold of the host.

It was an out of this world experience.

Raymond, the owner, is an incredibly helpful and attentive host. Made the stay really pleasant and was massively appreciated. The unit is super clean, well-located and has serious value for money. Pet friendly saved my life travelling with two pets.

Photos were exactly the same in person. Massive plus walking into the room and not being let down. The overall experience was amazing. Raymond answered the questions we asked quickly, and our late check-in and early check-out requests were accommodated without question.

The place is absolutely beautiful and our host Raymond was amazing, 5 out of 5.

Nice pleasant accommodation.

The accommodation itself was great, and our host was attentive. The only thing is that someone had parked their vehicle so close to the gate that my husband and I had to 'shimmy' past to get in and out. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning.

A wonderful stay with amazing views!

The unit at La Sal Guest House was clean and very comfortable. There was enough linen to ensure I was warm enough. Coffee, tea, etc. were provided, as well as fresh milk, which was awesome. The only suggestion is to add a plug for the hairdryer.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. However, there was no air-con and the room was a little warm, but opening the windows assisted. A breakfast facility would have been nice though. But otherwise, it was a nice stay for one night and the back-up electricity facility during load shedding did not go unnoticed. Thank you.

Very comfortable, with a great view of the Fishhoek mountains. Central and convenient location.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the room that we booked due to host allocating the rooms incorrectly. Found a few cockroaches in the room. Bed was nice and comfortable. However, neighbor guests had two dogs that were barking constantly which wasn't very pleasant and relaxing at all.

Pragtige dekor, veilige en netjiese oorslaap. Raymond het uit sy pad gegaan om sleepwa veilig te stoor vir die nag. 'n Oorslaap plek wat sorg dat daar melk in die yskas is verdien onmiddellik 'n ekstra ster veral as 'n mens vêr gereis het en laat arriveer. Sal beslis weer hier oorslaap.

Awesome! What can I say? Graceful, peaceful and quiet.

The room was clean, bedding was fresh, crisp, and better than hotel standard. There was even an electrical blanket for the chilly evening and a coffee tray freshly prepared, as well as a beautifully manicured garden, where I could do my my meditation with the backdrop of the mountain. The host, Raymond, didn't mind being called to assist and did so gracefully. This is my second time staying there and will definitely not be the last. I had the opportunity to sleep in both cottages and all I can say is great. Don't forget the breakfast. If you want solace, it's the place. I'm from Johannesburg and I'm already highly recommending the venue to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you Raymond for making my two stays at your guesthouse memorable and great.

Ons het baie lekker gebly. Diens kon vriendeliker gewees het, maar was hulpvaardig. Ontbyt was baie lekker en diens was goed. Sal vir seker weer oorweeg.

Vandat ek aangekom het en tot ek gery het was die diens uitstekend. Mense is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Plek is regtig baie mooi en baie gerieflik. Sal definitief weer daar oorbly.

Netjiese gastehuis met 'n aangename eienaar. Die akkommodasie was baie netjies en skoon en die ontbyte was baie smaakvol. Baie lekker stil omgewing.

Nie sleg nie.

Trappe is onveilig en nie geskik vir bejaarde persoon nie, geen reling nie. In die ander gastekamer was 2 groot doberman honde saam met gaste, wat bedags in die binnehof uitgelaat is en kon ons daarom nie vrylik beweeg nie. Te min koffie, melk en suiker vir 2 gaste en die ontbyt is bitter swak. Baie mooi kamer, modern, netjies en skoon. Vriendelike ontvangs van Sarah.

Alles was fantasties. Ek sou net graag 'n spieël in die kamer self wou hê. En dalk 'n sepie vir die stort. Die badkamerdeure het net handvatsels aan die buitekant wat dit moeilik maak om dit toe te maak as jy badkamer toe gaan, so ek stel dalk voor vir handvatsels aan die binnekant ook. Verder was als regtig great, bed het lekker geslaap, mooi ligging en uitsig ook! Die ontbyt was uit die boeke, en die restaurant self is baie oulik en billik, sal beslis weer daar stop as ons deur Vishoek ry in die toekoms.
