Ons verblyf was baie lekker.

Chalet was baie gerieflik en het alles gehad wat nodig was. Baie skoon en netjies. Ons het baie lekker gebly.

Lekker gebly

Baie goeie geriewe en gashere baie behulpsaam en vriendelik. Het ongelukkig 'n eksta bedrag moes inbetaal nadat julle my skriftelik verseker het dat my rekening ten volle vereffen was. Origens lekker gebly!

Wonderful lodging with a very unfriendly receptionist.

What a lovely place! They accommodated us with a very early check-in. I was disappointed in our encounters with the receptionist or host. Very unfriendly and no sense of customer service. Upon check-out, she simply took the key and walked to the chalet, no indication of what was happening. She would be the reason we won't return. I also wasn't aware of a key deposit when I made the booking; we had to withdraw cash and pay it. That process on its own was unpleasant because of this lady.

Verblyf is netjies en het alles wat mens nodig het. Restaurant se kos uit die boonste rakke. Sal weer terug gaan.

Funksioneel, rustig, skoon.

Baie eenvoudige maar goed beplande eenheid. Die bed slaap heerlik!

Baie naby aan die promenade.

Akkommodasie was naby die Promenade.

Everything you need in Walvis Bay.

Clean, well kept accommodation that is central and has everything that you need on site. The laundrette is amazing for travelling longer periods of time. Best to get tokens during office hours though. The only negative is that there are no cleaning goods inside the chalets, so you need your own washing up soap and sponges. We weren't sure if it was removed our just the standard. Overall, excellent and everything you need.

Die tarief is baie hoog op hierdie verblyf.

Clean, pragmatic appartment!

The light was not working in the bathroom but was exchanged as soon as I raised it. In fairness, it may have blown after it was checked. In the chalet 4 that I had been upgraded to (thank you), the WiFi was quite weak and patchy.

Heerlik.

Was net 1 nag maar het lekker geslaap.

Dit was 'n baie aangename vakansiewoonplek.

Die restaurant en kroeg was lekker om op die perseel te hê, maar die oop- en toemaak tye moet verleng word.

Suitable, but could do with an upgrade.

After the past few days of traveling through wide open spaces and staying in awesome, remote lodgings, Lagoon Chalets in Walvis was a reality check. The reception, which attended to about 40 chalets and 12 campsites in the "village" was very impersonal and abrupt in their responses. Something I suppose "you become" with so many demanding customers, although they were not very busy during our stay, so no real excuse. The apartments were shabby and in need of an upgrade, very small with a "semi-equipped" impractical kitchenette where the fridge stood in the sitting room. The sitting room's soft furniture was covered and sealed in plastic which made it unpleasant to sit on and a table if it would fit, would have made it more comfortable when eating. My reason for selecting Lagoon Chalets was their on-site laundry as I reasoned that, after 8 days of traveling we needed to do some laundry. In hindsight, such a pity as most venues could easily have assisted us, and clothes dried so quickly overnight in the dry conditions of Namibia. Walvis, the town, had good tourist attractions, ample shopping facilities and opportunities to have the car washed. This is a venue, and town, that I will not be visiting again.

Vriendelike personeel, ligging is uitstekend. Ek sal definitief weer daar inklok.

Lekker gerieflik en sentraal geleë.

Ons het 4 nagte by Lagoon Chalets oorgebly en gevind dat al die basiese benodigdhede daar was, die fasiliteit is elke dag skoongemaak en daar is 'n lekker braaiplekkie. Die see is binne stapafstand en daar is ook 'n lekker restaurant as mense nie lus is vir kosmaak.

Very friendly. Because I arrived late they arranged that I could get the key at security.

Rooms were cleaned every day. What would be nice is a little fridge in the backpacker rooms and a chair.

Skoon, billik en gerieflik.

Die eenheid was klein maar voldoende toegerus vir 'n kort besoek. Netjies en skoon. Slegs 'n mikrogolf in die eenheid waarin ek was, so kookopsies is beperk, maar daar is 'n restaurant op die perseel. Daar is WiFi, maar ek het dit baie stadig en nie juis bruikbaar gevind nie. Ek het heel lekker gebly in die algemeen. Die enigste steurnis was die gaste langsaan wat die hele aand luidrugtig was, maar darem na die tweede versoek 11:30 die aand tot bedaring gekom het — die reëls van die fasiliteit meld egter duidelik dat geen geraas en besoekers na 11:00 nm toegepas word nie, so mens kan nie die fasiliteit daarvoor blameer vir die onbedagsaamheid van hulle kliënte nie. Wees egter net bewus dat eenhede baie naby mekaar is en privaatheid dus beperk is.

Baie gerieflik.

Baie vriendelike personeel wat altyd gewillig was om te help. Netjies en skoon.
