Description
Lake Lintrose Cottage 1 is located on a working farm at the edge of Springrove Dam in Outer West Durban, offering a peaceful retreat for up to 8 guests.
The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with a separate guest toilet. Three of the bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, and the second bathroom is also fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The open-plan living area features a dining table, comfortable seating, and a fireplace.
Guests can enjoy a covered verandah with braai facilities and scenic views. Boats with sneaker motors are welcome, and catch-and-release fishing is allowed. There are farm roads ideal for walking or cycling, and the call of the fish eagle adds to the charm of the setting.
The cottage is pet-friendly and is just 4 km from the village of Nottingham Road and the R103, where guests can explore the Midlands Meander’s restaurants, pubs, shops and activities.
