Description
Blue Crane Farm, Trout and Wildlife Estate is an exceptional fly-fishing destination just outside of Dullstroom with 8 self-catering units and 2 beautifully meticulous and well-stocked trout dams.
Last Cast @ Blue Crane Farm is one of the 8 units that can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a bath. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and has an en-suite shower. Quality linen and bath towels are provided. All beds are equipped with electric blankets.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together.
The lounge area has comfy seating, a fireplace, TV with Netflix and opens onto a private patio with an outdoor dining table and a built-in braai.
This unit has a beautiful stone boma which is the perfect spot for guests to unwind and overlook the dam.
Blue Crane Farm offers natural scenery with free-roaming game species such as fallow deer, springbok, blesbok, zebra, hartebeest, and vaal rhebok. The birdlife is remarkable with several endangered species such as the Blue Crane and Crowned Cranes that nest on the farm on a regular basis.
The farm is approximately 17 km from Dullstroom and 20 km from Belfast which offers various shops, restaurants, and attractions. The farm is accessed by a gravel road and is suitable for vehicles with a low- or high clearance.
