Description
Little Carthage is a great getaway for people who love the bush, but please be prepared for the bush. We are set within the 1000 ha Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve with giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, warthog, eland, waterbuck, black-backed jackal and more, and there are crocodiles and hippos in the mainstream of the Olifants. The adventurous can explore the island, potholes and waterfalls right in front of Little Carthage.
Little Carthage comprises a rondavel and a chalet with a bedroom and an upstairs loft area. The chalet is furnished with a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and the loft area upstairs contains twin beds. The ladder to the loft is very steep and not suitable for small children or for the elderly. The rondavel also contains a double bed. Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin.
The open kitchen has an eight-seater table under thatch, a full-size fridge-freezer, a gas oven and stove, a microwave and cutlery and crockery.
There is a swimming pool and guests are offered braai facilities.
