Live Lekker Stylish Coastal Hideaway

An artistic haven. Welcomed like family.

Carol's warm welcome was the opening to an enjoyable stay; the cottage is a work of art! I kept finding new and beautiful aspects to enjoy, like the stained glass window in the guest bathroom. Nestled in the dune scrub, we felt safe and secluded, the abundant bird life providing the soundtrack for our stay. The short walk from Live Lekker to the beach enticed our three teens outdoors and away from their phones. Every need has been anticipated at Live Lekker, from a beach umbrella and beach toys for kids to a flask for tea, a scented candle in the bathroom, and a yoga mat. Visiting was more like arriving to stay with family than staying in accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend Live Lekker Stylish Coastal Hideaway to anyone from a couple looking for a romantic getaway to grandparents taking their grandchildren away for a long vacation and everyone in between. Lovely, well-appointed and comfortable accommodation. Hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating. Location is ideal for a Garden Route getaway, quiet location but within easy reach of attractions. Easy access to the N2 for travel. The beach is lovely and just a short walk away.

Dit was 'n aangename ervaring om deur julle te bespreek. Die kommunikasie vanaf julle span en Carol, die gasvrou, was deurentyd baie goed. Ons is gulhartig ontvang en bederf met verskillende versnapperinge. Die akkommodasie was skoon, netjies en gerieflik. Die akkommodasie sal ook geskik wees vir diegene wat vir 'n lang periode wil wegbreek, want dit is volledig toegerus (tot toegang tot 'n wasmasjien!).

Home away from home.

Absolutely stunning unit and location. Everything you can think of that should be available in a self-catering unit was there. Attention to detail and ensuring that we were at ease and comfortable was the host's top priority. Thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay for a family of 6!

Wonderful - a perfect holiday spot, comforts like home.

We received lots of info before arrival from our host, which was helpful for self check-in and also about stops around Plettenberg Bay. On arrival, she was there to welcome us and had kindly bought us a milk tart! The house was well-kitted out with everything one would need - little touches like some extra milk in the fridge, spices, extra towels and blankets, and hot water bottles, as well as some fruit in a bowl - really impressed us. They gave us some links to local places to visit - invaluable. Also very flexible regarding check-out and so on. We would definitely like to recommend their spot and would love to visit again!

Carol's place is absolutely stunning. I wish I could give it more than five stars. It is beautifully decorated, with very good beds and has a wonderful, homely feeling. She has gone out of her way to think of everything that one may need or want when you're on a holiday. The house is sunny, wonderfully peaceful, very private and very well-equipped. I had the most fantastic stay - surrounded by nature, quiet and safe. It's a short walk (within the estate) to one of the best beaches in South Africa and less than 3 km away from the amazing seaside 'famous' restaurant - Enrico's. The cottage is very well situated (out of Plett town, yet everything is just a short drive away). Everything was perfect. Carol was a great host. This is definitely a place to return to. So glad I found this new listing.
