Description
Makhato Lodge 3 is a charming self-catering home in the serene Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela-Bela. Located aproximately 150 km from Johannesburg, this private game reserve offers tranquil bushveld experiences, wildlife encounters, and birdwatching opportunities.
This property can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is fully furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds, one of which is a loft room. These bedrooms share the use of the second bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The air-conditioned open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a dishwasher, and a central 6-seater dining table. The adjacent lounge has a comfortable couch. Additionally, there is a separate lapa with a built-in braai, a 6-seater dining table, a flat-screen TV with DStv channels, as well as a bar area.
Outside, there is a boma with a fire pit and braai area. Guests are provided with 2 enclosed parking bays. Sondela offers an on-site restaurant and bar, a farmyard coffee shop, a general store for basic necessities, communal swimming pools, a wildlife center, and a Wellness Spa.
