We genuinely enjoyed our stay at Memory Lane and would recommend it to anyone for any occasion. Beautiful big spacious house, lovely decor, fully equipped with things to do. Our large group of 6 adults, kids, toddlers, and babies genuinely enjoyed our stay. We felt safe and were sad to leave. Most definitely value for the price.

Overall it was good.

It would be nice if we could have been told to bring our own towels and toilet paper. I had to buy these late on Thursday night from the OK nearby at a huge cost. The place needs to keep emergency lights, as there were none when loadshedding happened. Had to buy emergency lights and candles from the local shop as there were none usable in the house. The fridge in the bar was not working. We only found out on Friday morning after placing all our beers and drinks in there overnight. The next day, myself and the gardener managed to fix it with little tools we had. It worked until Saturday morning and stopped again. The house's outside lights and those in the lapa where we braaied did not work, kept on tripping, so we had to braai with an emergency light on Friday and Saturday. The gas braai had no gas, so we could not use that. My gas cylinder had a different fitting size, so could not use it. The house was infested with ants and we had to keep using the Blue Death powder, which only worked on certain spots. We had to throw away food after leaving it on the table for a few minutes as the ants just invade the plate or container. Generally we had a good time and made do with the issues, but could have been better.

Uitstekend vir 'n lekker kuier.

Die huis en fasiliteite is regtig great. Ongelukkig was die netheid onder verwagting. Die jongklomp en selfs ons het die buite-area met die pooltafel en kroeg terdeë geniet. Ons sal definitief weer kom draai. Dis 'n lekker plek vir 'n groot groep of volwassenes.

Nice place, but dirty. Would love to go back, however the place should be cleaned.

Ons het oor Kerstyd 'n plekkie gesoek waar ons saam die kinders en kleinkinders kon tyd spandeer. Wat 'n wonderlike plek. Genoeg spasie vir almal. Die swembad was die beste ooit. Die lapa het ons die meeste tyd in spandeer. Die omgewing was rustig en ons was naby aan al die plekkies. Die huis self was skoon en alles wat ons nodig gehad het was daar vir ons. Sal definitief weer daar woon!
