Milkwood (MLK001)

Beautiful home and great location, but needs long overdue maintenance.

We did, however, enjoy our experience in South Africa. Your staff, Angel and Armstrong, were phenomenal and very attentive to our needs during our stay. However, I wanted to share some feedback on areas for much needed improvement within the home: The washer and dryer is inoperable and for a family traveling for several days, this is a necessity to have clean clothes and the means for drying. The deck needs treatment. After our kids were playing in the pool they got splinters from the untreated wood which was very painful for them. The roach infestation needs to get under control. You may need an exterminator to come and treat the home. The supplies in the home were limited/missing, such as the table mats, coffee pot, blow dryer etc. The refrigerator also needs to be repaired as it couldn't keep the food we purchased cool and a lot of our items spoiled as a result. The number of the home needs to be corrected on the form shared with the reservation. We passed it several times in the night when we arrived because it said 29 from the street and not 31 as indicated on the form. We arrived late at night and had to go back and forth to find the home upon our arrival which was very annoying. The cable was no longer working on our last few days looks like the bill was not paid on time. There is an issue with the hot water that we had to fix with the breaker box it was a bit annoying may need to consider getting this looked into as well.

Dit word as 'n 5 slaapkamer geadverteer, maar die 5de kamer is onder by die motorhuis (wat in 'n toestand is). Die kombuis is glad nie toegerus vir 10 persone nie, nie eers 10 bekers/glase ens nie. Als voel vuil en verwaarloos. Die TV in hoofslaapkamer werk nie. Foto’s is glad nie soos die werklikheid nie. Sal hierdie huis glad nie aanbeveel nie.
