Millerd Mountain Lodge

Stunning location.

Excellent communication. A beautiful, spacious house. The heaters, electric blankets and fireplaces made our stay very comfortable. The surroundings are magnificent and we were treated to a dumping of snow. Fantastic place to hike and explore. We will definitely be back!

Lovely big house with amazing views.

It's a lovely big house with a stunning view of the mountains across the valley. The mountains were covered in snow while we were there. The house has two fireplaces with a plentiful supply of wood, plus several heaters, but it's still quite cold, so go prepared in winter. It was great to have our dishes washed every day! Also, WiFi in such a remote location. Geoff was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests.

Wou gaan sneeu kyk. Heerlike familienaweek. Pragtige omgewing en veilig. Alles wat ek verwag het en meer.

Teleurstellende verblyf.

Die omgewing is mooi en die daaglikse was van die skottelgoed is 'n bonus. Ongelukkig is die huis vuil, die mikrogolfoond werk nie, die een toilet lek en verskeie items kort instandhouding. Die enigste herlaaibare lig se draad is af, en tydens die ongeskeduleerde 5-uur lange kragonderbreking was die enigste een ander voorsiening 'n paar kerse (geen vuurhoutjies of aanstekers).

If you want to get away from everything then this is the place to go. From breathtaking mountain views to sparkling mountain streams. The whole area is at peace with the world.

Millerd Mountain Accommodation provided us with a beautiful setting and all the privacy we wanted!

The characterful old farmhouse in the mountains was perfect for our needs! It was great to walk into the house welcomed by a burning fireplace, a burning Aga stove and electric blankets switched on! A friendly woman showed us around, and although we could not understand a word she said, her welcoming smile and warmth touched our hearts. The house was serviced daily. The roads surrounding Millerds takes you to the most spectacular and breathtakingly beautiful scenic drives in the country. Our 3 dogs had a ball and were welcome, and for us this is the most important of all!

Amazing!

Die verblyf self was baie netjies en veilig met 'n ongelooflike view oor die berge. Van die pieke het nog sneeu gehad wat dit net meer spesiaal gemaak het. Die prys sluit visvang en stap in, dit voel asof mens die hele plaas het vir 'n paar dae. Visvang was goed met 4 wilde rivier trout wat gevang is.

It was okay.

Although the gravel road was worse than what we expected, Millred Mountain Accommodation was perfect and Mark & Uthando were amazing. Given another chance, I will surely visit again.

Goed ingerig. Rustig. Ideaal vir stappers en natuurliefhebbers.

Onvergeetlike tyd saam met uitgebreide familie op die afgeleë maar ongelooflike mooi huis en plaas naby Barkly-Oos.

Pragtige huis op afgeleë plaas. Uitstekend toegerus met lekker aktiwiteite soos stap, visvang en sterrekyk. Ons het Millerd Mountain Lodge gebruik as 'n basis om Tiffendel te besoek en die Barkly-Oos area te verken.
