Montagu Country Hotel is an Art Deco gem that first opened its doors in 1875 and has been lovingly refurbished with original Art Deco and Victorian furniture. Montagu lies nestled between the beautiful Langeberg Mountains on Route 62, conveniently located halfway between the Cape Winelands and the Garden Route.
Accommodation at this family-friendly, one-of-a-kind hotel is provided in individually decorated Art Deco or Victorian rooms.
Breakfast and a laidback lunch are on offer at the Feathers & Flatcaps Coffeeshop and cocktail lounge, or you can enjoy a hearty dinner at the Charlestons Restaurant. The in-house chef produces meals using fresh, local ingredients from the fertile Breede River valley. Guests can also explore the local wine region in a vintage Cadillac or a day of pampering at the Montagu spa where a range of beauty and relaxation therapies, couples massages and nail treatments, as well as a private mineral jacuzzi bath for two is available.
Guests can relax with a choice of two swimming pools, an art gallery and beautiful gardens to explore.
The activity hub is home to three of Montagu’s most popular activity operators – Cape Dry, Flying Feet and Protea Farm Tractor Trips.
