Mooirand Damhuis

A beautiful, peaceful, secluded spot.

We were visiting Frankfort for dog shows and the host allowed us to bring our dogs even though the house is on a game farm. It wasn't difficult to keep the dogs from straying as there is a patio and deck where they could lie around after working all day. They also enjoyed swimming in the dam. The house is equipped with everything that one needs.

Best place to re-change your batteries, will definitely go there again.

The place was clean, well-stocked with all that you need. Little things that were added like shower gel, hand cream, etc. and a chocolate on the beds make it more special. The ice machine was a definite plus. The place was all that you need to go and relax. The fishing was also good, 32 black bass were landed. The biggest was +- 1.5 kg. 2 yellow fish and 2 grass carp were also landed, biggest yellow was +- 3 kg and biggest grass carp was +- 2 kg.

We had a really wonderful stay. It is extremely peaceful and so lovely to see wildlife in the distance. The place has everything you need and had been very thoughtfully equipped. The host gave very good and clear instructions and directions so it was a pleasure arriving there. The photos are a completely accurate depiction of exactly what is there, which is rare and fantastic.

Absolute Gem!

What an absolutely wonderful place, it truly is a hidden gem! We loved everything about Mooirand Damhuis, from the start to the end of this trip. The communication with the owners was incredible, they were so helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much. The house itself is a hidden treasure. Literally hidden in the 'valley', you feel safe and cosy. We were lucky enough to enjoy both sunshine and torrential rainy weather, when the sun shone the kids swam, fished, flew their kites, and played gleefully outside. When it rained, they still swam and fished but well also enjoyed time just chilling by the fireplace. It was a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend this venue and to top it all off, the bedding was incredibly lush! Go, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed.

Ons verblyf het voldoen aan al ons vereistes. Rustigheid, netheid en gemak.

Ons is mal oor die Damhuis, netjies, gerieflik, en privaat.

Damhuis is op 'n groot baarsdam geleë en dis heerlik om soggens wakker te word en oor die dam uit te kyk. Beskik oor al die geriewe wat benodig word. Kan dit beslis aanbeveel en ons gaan vir seker weer besoek.

This is a magical spot, the views over the still waters of the dam are pure bliss.

The Mooirand Damhuis has everything you need to enjoy the weekend way with friends. It is extremely peaceful and the stars on a clear night are magnificent. The space is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The indoor braai on a cold winters evening is wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Perfekte wegbreekplek weg van die gejaag en rumoer. Al wat jy moet saamvat is kos en goeie geselskap.

Baie mooi geleë. Was net te kort daar.

Ongelooflike plek beveel dit aan vir natuurliefhebbers.

Ongelooflik skoon en netjies. Alles wat jy benodig is daar. Uitsig is pragtig. Dankie Rona vir jou vriendelikheid. Beveel die plek vir seker aan. Ons was 4 volwassenes, ons kan absoluut nie een negatiewe punt uitlig nie. Alles was perfek. Ons gaan defnitief weer.

Lekker huis wat privaatheid bied.

Ons het ons verbly by die damhuis baie geniet. Ons was 5 jong mense sonder kinders en kon lekker op die stoep sit, braai en die wildslewe geniet. Die binnehuisversiering is baie mooi gedoen en die huis is lekker ingerig. Elke kamer het sy eie badkamer, die beddens slaap heerlik en daar was net genoem warm water vir almal. Sal dit hoogs aanbeveel. Ons kon die kort grondpad met ons Polo TDi, ry selfs in die reën uit.
