Moonglow Guesthouse is situated on the slopes of the Glencairn mountain and overlooks False Bay.

Moonglow is on the Cape Point Route which offers visitors a variety of activities such as boat trips, visit Cape Point, the penguins of Boulders beach, ostrich farm, local art and curios, kayaking and beautiful scenery to keep you enthralled for days. Enjoy a township tour, visit Slangkop Lighthouse,the tallest cast-iron lighthouse on the South African coast,in nearby Kommetjie, walk with the last remaining Chacma Baboons, enjoy a round of golf or visit the World of birds in Hout Bay,Africa's largest bird park. A day of wine tasting can be enjoyed in the Constantia or Stellenbosch wine region.

The panoramic view starts with Glencairn Beach and sweeps around the bay where in the distance you can see the Hangklip mountain then to Simon's Town which is the historical naval town of South Africa and be treated to sightings of whales from July through to November

At night the sight of the moon's path of light across the bay is something to behold as are the twinkling lights all around the bay.

Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs from 7.30 to 9.30 am which also has spectacular sea views. Our rates include a full English breakfast with cereals, yoghurt, seasonal fruits, bacon and egg, toast, fruit juice and tea or coffee.A lounge with a ceiling high bookcase is the place to sit and relax and read the books one never has time to read.

Accommodation in 6 individually decorated en-suite rooms with hand embroidered percale linen, TV, fridge, tea tray, heater and fan.

Located 35 kms from the Cape Town city centre and 45 kms from Cape Town International Airport

En-suite bathrooms with either shower or bath/shower and wash-hand basin. High quality towels are supplied as well as beach towels on request
Rooibos soap, moisturising hand-cream and shampoo provided.

A tea and coffee tray with filter coffee, tea (rooibos and Ceylon), fresh milk and a chocolate is provided each evening. Tea and coffee is available at other times on request.
