Wonderful, relaxing stay.

We had a very comfortable stay. Communication was great, and the house was kitted with everything we needed and more. The host went out of her way to make us feel like it was a home away from home. We will definitely be back.

Lovely fully equipped cottage in peaceful surroundings.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, with views of the mountains and the apple orchards. An awesome place to connect with nature. The hosts were fantastic, friendly, and helpful. They were happy to answer all our questions about apple growing. Farming apples is fascinating! Had no idea of what goes into each apple.

Relaxing, fun and filled with great customer service!

The stay was awesome! The customer service provided by the host and Kevin was out of this world! The place is beautiful, rustic and clean. Loved the fact that so many back-ups were in place for load shedding: WiFi continues working, the rechargeable lights, gas stove, etc. Really loved all the attention to detail.

Ons het die laaste 3 nagte van 2022 weggevlug van die geraas in die stad na die lieflike vrugte en wynarea van Elgin. Moortop het baie mooi ingerigtte huisies met 'n heerlike braai-area, beskut teen die wind. Die eienaars was baie gasvry en behulpsaam deur aanbevelings te maak oor aktiwiteite in die omgewing. Ons kon ook lekker stap op die plaas. Wonderlike ervaring.

Refreshing and comfortable.

Delighted with the comfortable and pleasant cottage. Care has been taken to make it welcoming. Love the comfy beds.

We had an awesome weekend.

The accommodation is literally flawless. Clean, beautiful linen and room mist/shampoo/conditioner etc. provided. Lovely views around the cottage and very cool braai area. Our kids was safe and could run around in the courtyard. Wood was provided and great security. 5km away from everything (shops, railway market etc). Rowena was always available and very friendly and welcoming.

The Granny Smith cottage was perfectly cosy and homely.

When we requested a cot for our toddler, Rowena delivered it and set it up so quickly. Elgin is a beautiful place and we look forward to returning to Moortop with our friends and family soon. The setting is perfect, the showers are great and the beds are super comfy.

Die kothuis het als wat jy benodig met 'n lieflike private braaiplek. Daar was lampies vir tydens loadshedding en ons het baie vriendelike diens gekry.

Lekker gekuier en onstpan, wifi het goed gewerk en ons was lekker naby aan plekke in die area.

Amazing stay.

What an amazing experience for the change. From the communication to the small things, they do to make your stay as amazing as possible. A must visit if you are in the area.

Ontspannende Elgin-ontsnap.

Baie gerieflike kothuis op 'n stil plaas, na aan pragtige natuur. Bekende wynplase en ander plekke om te besoek naby geleë.

A lovely setting for a weekend away with friends.

We enjoyed the cozy cottage and the beautiful Spring garden! The deck offered a perfect view of the braai and orchards beyond, while the inside fireplace was most welcome during the chilly evenings. The cottage kitchen offered everything we needed, and extras, like the blankets next to the fireplace, were a lovely touch! Although Panorama Cottage is in close proximity to the other Moortop Cottages, the setting still felt secluded and offered a welcome escape. Rowena was a great host and our whole experience was seamless and very enjoyable!

Baie mooi en skoon.

Pragtige omgewing met vrugtebome in die heuwels. Die huisies is baie mooi ingerig met kwaliteit afwerkings. Die koffie, tee en beskuit was regtig lekker ekstras.

Net ver genoeg om weg te kom.

Baie lekker braai-area, het 11 mense maklik vergesel. Die huisies is goed ingerig en baie netjies. Die eienaar is ook baie vriendelik.

Short, very pleasant.

We only slept for the Saturday, the farm is peaceful. The cottage very clean, neat and has everything you need.

Presies wat mens nodig het!

Bitter bedagsaam en vriendelik. Die verblyf is puik en is die perfekte beginpunt om Elgin in te vaar.

Dit was prentjiemooi en so ontspanne by Moortop Cottages.

Moortop Cottages is absoluut pragtig, skoon en baie netjies. Die huisie is so goed toegerus met al die nodige goed. Die dekor is verskriklik mooi en dit is prentjie mooi op die plaas. Rowena, die eienaar, was dierbaar en so behulpsaam. Ons sal graag weer daar wil gaan bly.
