Description
Experience a serene retreat from the urban chaos in the tranquility of a self-catering private luxury tent, boasting magnificent vistas of the Kransberg mountains. Off grid solar-power, air conditioner, spacious raised deck up a flight of stairs, and 360-degree views, guests can marvel at the local game on the farm, blesbok, impala, and nyala. Watch the sunrise and sunset from the deck, paint the sky with ever-changing hues over the mountains.
The tent is tastefully furnished with a king-size four poster bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels provided.
Mount Olivet Luxury Tent is only suitable for a couple; however, we also offer 2 private shaded adjacent camping spots with electric hookups, outside bathroom, should you wish to bring friends or family along.
The unit has a small kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, induction plate stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a cosy seating area. The unit opens up to a wraparound deck with beautiful views of the bushveld and Kransberg mountains. This is the ideal spot to savour a morning cup of coffee or enjoy a lovely sundowner. With a weber braai on the deck or the custom made braai and fire pit next to the splash pool, get your fire is going ready for a braai under the expansive starry sky.
Situated just 8 km from Marakele National Big Five San Park, guests hope to see some of the big five, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. There is single lane mountain drive to the top of the mountain, Lenong viewing point, with amazing views. For a closer encounter with wild cats, visit the Marakele Animal Sanctuary, just 4kms away, and requests available for an unforgettable ride in the renowned Lion Mobile, to experience lions up close and personal.
It is recommended to come with a 4x4 during the rainy season as the farm roads get very muddy.
