Description
Muqurati Lodge offers comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation for a group or family of 8 adults and 3 children, and guests have a chance to view free-roaming games close by. The lodge uses borehole water and has solar power.
The spacious lodge comprises 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a lovely outdoor braai area, and a boma. The main bedroom, Leeu, is furnished with a king-size bed as well as a day bed, while its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. This room also features a walk-in closet. The second bedroom, Olifant, contains a queen-size bed as well as a single bed for a child. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. Luiperd, the third bedroom, is also furnished with a queen-size bed while the en-suite bathroom has a shower. Zebra serves as the fourth bedroom and contains a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. All the rooms open onto the patio.
The large kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and opens onto a patio. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area or relax in the lounge which opens onto a stoep.
The house has a large undercover braai area, as well as the boma. Fires are only allowed in the braai area or boma, and wood can be bought at the lodge; guests may not cut trees or wood that is on the property.
Enjoy the view from the kitchen patio where animals can be seen. A variety of game roam close by and come to eat and drink in the late afternoon or evening. Guests can also walk along the path to see the variety of games on the other side of the electric fence.
