Awesome stay.

Nice cosy place in Port St Johns, the hosts were amazing and very insightful, and always willing to make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Keep up the excellent work.

Very beautiful location. Brings you close to nature with the river running past. You can hear the water, birds and see the stars. Amazing.

Nie 'n rustige vakansie nie. Baie raserig in die dorp wat oorlaai is met toeters en.

Alhoewel die lodge goed toegerus is, word die onderhoud afgeskeep.

No network. Rooms filthy with old rugs called floor mats. No electricity. Generator controlled and switched off while I was still busy.

Kort wegbreek met vriende.

Die eienaars en personeel is super vriendelik en met die restuarant en spa op die perseel is dit beslis baie gerieflik. Eienaars het bevestig dat hulle binnekort die oord gaan renovate wat regtig nodig is. Sodra upgrade gedoen is, sal die oord waarde vir geld wees, maar ongelukkig tans is daar paar goedjies wat aandag kort in die kamer waar ons gebly het. Soos byvoorbeeld die lig wat geskuif is en die gate nie toegemaak is nie. Bad aan buitekant is beskadig. Grout in stort moet vervang word of ordentlik geskrop word. Die hemelbed se gordyne het baie erg geruik - nie vuil nie, maar lanklaas gewas. Sterkte met julle renovations N'taba River Lodge & Spa.

The location is beautiful. The first room we stayed in the hot water was not running in the shower as well as the shower is in the bath was not functioning well. At least one could have checked if everything worked.

After complaining we got another room which was very nice and an upgrade as well. Staff is doing their best only a pity that few people eat in the restaurant at night. Wi-Fi not always working when there is loadshedding.

It was not good at all. We we were staying at Nyoni B room where we had to shower with cold water for the duration of our stay there.

The reception staff was so unfriendly and at times acted as if we were in a military camp. I would not recommend Ntabeni Lodge to anyone who is known to me. Their conduct was disgusting and deplorable.

The staff members are not friendly at all, those at the reception.

The place doesn't look like as shown on the pictures when it's being advertised, I was a bit disappointed. For example, the pool is not well maintained, and the blue lights in it are off (not working) but in the picture, the pool looks blue and attractive at night.

Nice location but insist on accommodation you booked and paid for.

The lodge was very neat, and clean and in a good location on the river bank. Unfortunately, I had requested and booked a specific separate unit for personal reasons of privacy and proximity to other guests, which upon arrival was apparently not available. I was given an "upgrade" to a "superior" unit which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. The units are relatively small with the only window being the sliding entrance door, and crowded together, even sharing an open patio such that you could also hear all manner of noises through the night, TV, guests talking and moving about upstairs, toilets flushing, etc. which spoilt my experience and left me feeling hemmed in.

We had a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing time. Comfortable chalet with everything we needed. Welcoming hosts, staff efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Disappointed to say the least.

Sadly this establishment is not up to 4 star standard and what we have paid for. The rooms smell of damp, the establishment in general is run down and need some much needed TLC. A place with so much potential, it's just not looked after. The restaurant's food is terrible and not having much options in town we opted for dinner at the lodge. Extremely disappointed in the food and felt quite sick afterwards. Although the staff have a friendly nature, their service skills and professionalism definitely lacks finesse. If you are thinking of visiting Port St Johns to explore the region, stay away. The place is a complete dump and just another municipality that has turned into a failed one. We booked for three nights at Ntaba River Lodge and forfeited two nights stay as we couldn't wait to get out of the place. Think twice before visiting the area and booking at this establishment.

Stunning location on the river.

I would recommend they serve lunch as well because there is not a lot of places to lunch in the area.

Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing in a beautiful setting.

Had an enjoyable stay away from the hustle and bustle, African feel with friendly staff, made us feel at home and comfortable, luxurious rooms, a tasty affordable menu.

The was beautiful. The setting was absolutely stunning. The highlight was the amazing, friendly and very talented kitchen staff. The best fish I have eaten in a very long while. Wat an amazing start to our holiday. Thank you Moodleys for the amazing hospitality.

Rustige bederfweek!

Wonderlike verwelkoming deur personeel! Mooi, skoon en baie netjiese oord tussen die berge en die rivier. Die kamer was 'n koel lafenis in die warm somerhitte. Ons het heerlik geëet, baie dankie N'taba!

Baie lekker gebly.

Het gebly vir 5 nagte, ontbyt is baie lekker, maar die spyskaart vir aandete is beperk. Daar is darem talle ander plekke om van te kies.

Nie lekker nie.

Die beddegoed was vuil. Daar was nie koppies nie. Port St Johns is vuil en gevaarlik. Receptionist was nie vriendelik of hulpvol. Waiters kry nie tips nie.

Netjies en mooi, seker die moeite werd.

'n Pragtige lodge met baie vriendelike mense. Behulpsaam en met heerlike kos. Ongelukkig kon ons nie op die rivier gaan roei het nie maar dit het seker nie die stemming gedruk nie. Sommer naby die strand en effe verder van die uitkykpunt by die landingsbaan verwyder. Seker 'n plekkie om aan te beveel.

N'taba is 'n oase net buite Port St Johns.

Ons het baie lekker by N'taba gebly. Dis 'n mooi en netjiese plek reg langs die rivier, omvou deur berge. Ek sal dit aanbeveel vir 'n oorslaap plek of dalk vir 2 aande se bly. Die kamers was mooi en skoon. Ons het baie lekker by die restaurant aandete en ontbyt geëet.

Beautiful. Clean. Staff pleasant helpful. Menu needs revision, they had the same options for the whole week. But I'll still return.

Skoon, vriendelik. Baie buddha beelde. Heerlike ontbyt.

Ons TV het aanvanklik nie gewerk nie maar hulle het ons geskuif later. Die bure was raserig. Beddegoed was skoon en decor in die kamers gepas en luuks. Buddha beelde voor elke eenheid en swembad. Voel darem veilig as jy eers in jou kamer is.

Spectacular views with a tranquil environment with wonderful spa treatments that will leave you feeling relaxed

If you love nature and waking up to a breathtaking view of the river and mountains and sounds of birds chirping, you definitely need to come to this place. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything aswell as knowledgable with regards to attractions in and around PSJ. Ooh and the spa treatments will leave you feeling rejuvenated.i have already recommended it to family and friends and can't wait to go back. The only advice is to add more games to the games room.

Uitmuntende waarde vir geld!

Ons was op ons wittebrood en het Ntaba se diens, ligging, netheid en goed voorbereide etes geweldig waardeer en geniet. Die lodge is werkend as 'n goed geoliede masjien. Net een jammerte: vanweë werksvereistes moes ons terugkeer, maar ons sou graag nog 'n week wou gebly het, maar Ntaba sien ons weer in 2016!

Tranquil and relaxing.

We enjoyed the 3 days we stayed at N'taba River Lodge. The room was 5 star and we had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good, especially the breakfast. A suggestion: to open the bar at the restaurant earlier - we would have loved to, on arrival and other days, sit on the veranda/deck overlooking the river and have a refreshment. Instead we had to go into town to get some refreshments.

Het was heel rustig in de Lodge. De lodge ligt prachtig aan de rivier. Het zwembad zag er niet zo schoon uit dat is jammer.

Fantasties!

Dit was 'n fantastiese tydjie. Ons het 'n motorongeluk gehad op pad na Ntaba en hulle het uit hulle pad gegaan om ons te help en te akkommodeer met onderdakparkering ens. Ons kon nie al die fasiliteite gebruik nie, want dit het meeste van die tyd gereën. Maar dit was wonderlik. Rustig. Kos was vanuit die boonste rakke!

Die akkommodasie was fantasties. Die kos was heerlik. Die personeel was baie vriendelik.

Fantasties! Skoon! Almal baie hulpvaardig!
