Fantastic campsite.

We loved this place so much that we already booked our next visit. We stayed at campsite no. 2. It is exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic. The little kitchen area is a huge bonus, and the bathroom is beautiful (there were even flowers in the bathroom). Ilze is a great host who could not seem to do enough for us. Her personal touches are everywhere. The little hot tub is the perfect bonus for hot summer days or winter.

We stayed at Camp 2 which has a beautiful view over the valley and a few trees for shade under which to camp. The hot tub which we left cold made for a great splash pool in the heat and the private solar-powered ablution and large shaded scullery area were fantastic. The dogs loved it and the spacious camps were far enough away from each other to feel secluded. There are nice shady walks and mountain bike trails but it is very steep and hilly mostly so not suitable for beginners or the unfit.
