Met ons aankoms het ons 'n lekker bottel wyn ontvang. Wyn, son, see awesome!

Ons het in die Dolphin-eenheid gebly. Mooi skoon en netjies. Pragtige see-uitsig. Baie dankie vir die lekker verblyf!

Ja baie. Stoeplig was buite werking, TV se DStv op 'n stadium af. Baie trappe was bietjie veeleisend. Verder als reg.

Heerlik rustig.

Heerlike 2 dae weg van alles. Die instruksies was uitstekend, geen probleme met inboek nie. Beddens slaap heerlik en woonstel baie goed toegerus.

I had a great weekend.

I had a very pleasant stay. Everything was neat and tidy. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances I needed and the view was amazing.

Ons het elke oomblik geniet.

Pragtige see-uitsig. Lugversorging 'n groot bonus gewees. Sal beslis weer gaan. Eienaar was baie behulpsaam toe krag onverwags lank af was.

Great place and views.

Well-equipped including 2 air-cons which saved me from the humidity when there wasn't load shedding! Complimentary wine was a nice touch.

Really enjoyed our stay. Good view from the deck, not too far to walk to the beach, and Dave is a lovely host.

Teleurstellend!

Vir die 2de besoek was die eienaar weereens nie beskikbaar nie. Na vele oproepe het hy uiteindelik sy foon geantwoord en die hekkode gegee. Ek is darem deur die verwer ontvang. Beurtkrag vanaf 17:00 tot 19:30, maar die perseel se elektrisiteit het nie weer aangekom nie. Na vele oproepe, WhatsApp-boodskappe was Dave weer nie beskikbaar nie. Geen noodligte of kerse beskikbaar nie. Die volgende oggend was die perseel se krag steeds af en die opsigter moes die hek van die hekmotor kom aftel sodat ek kon ry vir my afspraak. Teleurstellend!

No hot water in shower, no DStv and no wifi.

The gate closed by itself while we were reversing into the yard and I scratched my car on the boot and the bumper, not happy about that at all. Car is still new, only 5 months old.

We felt that this accommodation was ridiculous to charge R950 a night.

There were cockroaches. The bathroom was poorly finished. The waste in the shower and the drain pipe under the basin - absolutely offputting, worst experience ever. The hot/cold shower controls both came off in my hand on the first day. I put them back and kept pushing them in so they wouldn't fall out again - honestly?! Just not acceptable. In this day and age, how do you justify not having hot water in the bathroom basin? The two-plate gas stove - without an oven - was ok up to a point. We could not bake any food?! There is a gap at ceiling level between the unit and the space next door. In the morning, we could hear people running water, brushing their teeth, etc. nextdoor? Sorry, not the way it's done, guys. They may as well have been in our kitchen and it wasn't private enough. You know it's not acceptable - I don't need to tell you. Toilet and cistern were very clean - looked new, in fact. Thank goodness. The cupboard/wardrobe in the bedroom makes little sense. Only one side works?! The other side does not open?! So we didn't bother to unpack as there was too little space for two of us. The driveway was a challenge but we managed. Solar power was great! You cannot call that little "monitor" a TV - we may as well use a laptop. The location is brilliant: so close to the beach and to the mini-market. Very, very convenient. We loved being able to see (albeit very limited) and hear the sea! Sitting on the verandah reading was great. Must be amazing upstairs, above Dolphin! The cleaning lady was just too wonderful! What a sweetheart! Overall, we felt overcharged and hoodwinked. R950 for that is not right. But that said, we loved Zinkwasi (have been many times!) and made the best of the disappointing accommodation. We would definitely not risk ever recommending Ocean Rush Dolphin to anyone. Apologies if this offends. That is not the intention. Hopefully, the place can be made less rustic, etc.

Die eienaars lewer fantastiese diens en die geriewe is alles wat jy benodig met ekstra bederfies soos koffie, melk en wyn.

Slegs een aand oorgeslaap, maar het volkome welkom gevoel.

Ek het 'n datumfout gemaak met my bespreking, maar was nie 'n probleem vir Dave nie. Ek is steeds vriendelik ontvang en al was ek volgens bespreking 1 dag te vroeg was die kamer reeds voorbereid en alles netjies.

We stayed in Seagull for 2 nights, and were very impressed with the unit.

We stayed in the Seagull unit for 2 nights. It's lovely, really spacious with everything you need. The air conditioners in the rooms are a welcome bonus and we could see that the owners go out of their way to ensure the comfort of their guests even with small details like dishwashing liquid provided. Dave immediately send me all the info needed once I'd booked and made himself available if we needed anything. The deck and view are amazing and that alone is worth a visit. 10/10.

We needed overnight accommodation whilst in transit.

We had a wonderful experience at Ocean Rush, from beginning to end. Truly appreciated the unexpected upgrade. Communication with Dave was excellent, venue was absolutely superb. Truly looking forward to visiting Ocean Rush and Zinkwazi again.

My stay at Ocean Rush, was same as my home. Everything was available to suit my needs. It was relaxing after a long drive. It was an ideal place to stay for my family and me.
