Description
Oceanic Elandsbaai is a lovely self-catering beachfront house in Elands Bay on the West Coast offering direct beach access, stunning views of the ocean and the Bobbejaan Mountain from all bedrooms, and is 400 meters away from the shops and restaurants.
All bedrooms have a sea view and ceiling fans. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third has 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. All linens and bath towels are provided, but guests are required to bring along their own beach towels.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer with a built-in water cooler and dispenser, microwave, smoothie blender, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and braai utensils as well as ample cupboard space for groceries. There is a washing machine, an outside washing line with pegs and an iron, and an ironing board available in the house.
The dining room features a modern ceiling fan, an antique cast iron stove, a large wooden 6 seater dining room table with chairs and has access to both the outside and inside braai. The indoor braai can also be used as a fireplace. There are 2 wooden bar counter chairs located at the breakfast nook counter at the open plan kitchen.
The living room area features comfortable couches and chairs, modern ceiling fans, a flat-screen smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and other streaming apps as well as a DStv decoder with the full premium DStv package. The lounge and the long sea-facing outdoor patio offers uninterrupted views of the ocean and Bobbejaan Mountain. There is an outdoor table with 6 outdoor chairs that can be used on the patio while enjoying the view of the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean.
Guests are offered onsite secure parking, there is ample space for trailers and/or a caravan. The house is secured with an alarm system with armed response.
Oceanic has direct beach access and is 400 meters walk from the main swimming beach entrance, restaurants, shops, museum and the local bar.
Elands Bay is well-known for its fantastic surfing opportunities and is a popular coastal town known for the natural wonders of Verlorenvlei, the river mouth and its clean, untouched white beach that stretches for kilometres.
Unfortunately Oceanic is not pet friendly.
