Calm, cosy, quiet.

The stay was great, lovely places to walk to, encounters with wildlife, and an extremely friendly, family dog who adopted us. Close to Nottingham Road and other lovely Midlands Meander spots.

Rustig op stoep gekuier en gebraai. Uitsig was mooi. Ons het lekker geslaap.

Ons het heerlik gebly dankie. Alles was skoon en netjies. Die uitsig is baie mooi.

The setting was serene and beautiful. The Dairy cottage was comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away. The host was friendly and most helpful and obliging. I would definitely return. Old Balgowan farm is not too far from the Midmar dam.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier en gebraai. Die plek het 'n pragtige uitsig en alles wat jy dink jy kan nodig het is reeds beskikbaar in elke cottage.

The rooms are clean, service is great. It is so peaceful and the kids could keep themselves busy paddling on the dam, and running around the farm.

Well received by Vicki, the cottage is neat and clean with all facilities as advertised. Enjoyed a leisurely walk on the farm and snuggled up at the indoor fireplace on a cold night.

Lekker gekuier! Skoon geriewe met goeie diens van eienaars - ons het ons per abuis toegesluit in die eenheid en hulle het vinnig kom help. Sonkrag ligte vir beurtkrag, gas en al die aandag aan detail tel mens op. Lekker baie bordspeletjies ook beskikbaar wat ons geniet het. Seuns het die het hangmat/stoel geniet as deel van ontspanning.

Fantastic stay on a beautiful working farm.

The cottage is located in a beautiful valley with surrounding hills and dams. It is a working farm so we visited the horses, ponies and hand-reared calves and got to feed them all, which made the kids very happy. It did rain the whole time we were there, but that didn't damper our fun and enjoyment, but I would recommend some gum boots if rain is expected. The fireplace came in very handy to help dry out the wet socks and shoes. Vicki was very friendly and even helped out with milk that we had forgotten. The stove is gas which is very helpful for the dreaded loadshedding times.

Absolutely awesome.

We absolutely loved our stay. Definitely making it our regular getaway. Vicki and everyone else on the farm is so amazing. Kids loved being free and venturing about. Definitely give it 5 stars. Thank you for such an amazing stay. See you guys all very soon.

Nietjies, skoon en vriendelike ontvangs.

Twee keer oorgeslaap. Dairy cottage en Fishermans cottage. Beide baie gerieflik en goed toegerus. Baie skoon. Vicki het ons vriendelik ontvang en gaan uit haar pad om mens te help. Kan hulle met vrymoedigheid aanbeveel.
